The staff at this facility were great. However their business office is utter garbage. My mom passed away there sadly. Two weeks after I got a call looking for her (?!?!) and a payment of $400. The center still owed me a credit of a few thousand dollars I had prepaid for her room. I continue to get bills addressed to her and have heard nothing of the credit even though I called over a month ago. Go anywhere else if you can.

My sister was just transferred to West Hills, I called her room..no answer. Knowing she isn’t mobile I called the main number to see if her phone was within reach..I was told..”It’s not against the law for her not to answer ya know, maybe she just didn’t want to talk to you!” Beyond RUDE!...I thanked her and told her I’d try again...I obviously interrupted your bad day! I’m hoping the care will be better then this gals attitude! Feeling concerned.

Ive never worked for a company that has no sympathy for people with kids. I got fired from a on call position. In 20 years a a caregiver I've never been fired from a job especially somewhere where their such short staff. Nice to loose a job 2 weeks before x mas with 4 kids and single mom. I have a special needs kid who was having a manic melt down and my respit worker didn't know how to handle the situation due to her being there with my son. I had to leave work and got in trouble for it. I would not recommend this place for anybody to work.

Excellent PT & OT programs. Every staff member was focused on patients, eager to assist, friendly, responsive to my needs & conscientious. The atmosphere was very positive & an excellent healing enviornment. Check in was thorough & provided me with everything I needed in every way. The room was clean & comfortable with a view outside. The food was excellent; nutritious, prepared in the full kitchen on site and the method for patient self ordering was great! Absolutely highly recommend this place for post op care!

Nothing about this place impresses me. If you’re a patient and need help? Great- just wait 20-40 minutes every time you hit the call button. Hope you have a 40 minute warning system on your bladder! I’ll pray that nobody has a medical emergency because well...good luck.
If you’ve got a parent that is reaching an age where assisted living might be an option, by all means take them here. You’ll see a place that is slow to act, with an apathetic staff, and questionable delivery of medication and assistance. You’ll then decide you might want to fight like hell to keep them out of a place

Physical Therapy team was GREAT!!! Management???? Worst I've EVER seen. Was in rehab for broken hip. Management PUSHED me out wayyyyyyyy to early. Not one of the therapy staff thought I was ready!!! I was informed the Dr.s were pushing me out because of a (BUNDLE) package. I could not put weight on my broken leg. Refused 1st time and filed a complaint. Was given 3 more days and pushed out the door. Was home less than a week and ended up in the E.R. of local hospital. Being READMITTED to competitors rehab center for 3 more weeks. Should have NEVER been sent home when I was. Was told the early release

My 88 year old mother-in-law was admitted following a partial hip replacement. The staff never called a Care Conference to discuss her goals during her stay. I had to make the call and ask for a conference, which was extremely helpful to all family members and mom. Next time I called to check on her progress, I was told she was being discharged the next day, and was told that her PT was angry about this release date. She has now been back at Westhills Village for 3 weeks, and has not received any PT or OT. When I called today to ask about this, they said that the Rehab never submitted the papers

My mom stayed here for about three months while recovering from two knee replacements and it was a fantastic experience. Their staff is truly outstanding and we were amazed at the level of service and care she received.
I can't recommend West Hills highly enough; it's a very well-run facility with great people.
