Rehabilitation Medicine Associates PC
Our goal is to restore physical function in patients with bone, muscle, or nerve injuries or diseases - from strokes and brain injuries to back and knee pain. We have years of experience managing the medical and legal aspects of spine and orthopedic care. RMA physicians provide inpatient care to patients hospitalized on the Rehabilitation Institute of Oregon unite at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital.

If you have been referred for an EDX test, you probably have questions about what this test involves. Electrodiagnositic testing uses two different types of test to evaluate your nerves and muscles. Nerve conduction study (NCS) is used to evaluate conditions causing numbness, tingling, pain and weakness.
Services
Our physicians at RMA are dedicated to helping you to obtain a diagnosis and create a treatment plan. We strive to provide you with education on your medical conditions. Our physicians are board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Button completed her medical degree (MD) at Washington University in St. Louis, and her residency at Baylor College of Medicine Houston TX and her fellowship training in Spine and Sports Medicine at the University of Utah Salt Lake City.

I have been treated here, as needed, since my injury almost 40 years ago. I have always received excellent care from this organization. My original doctor retired a few years back, I now see Dr. Lawlor and she has been outstanding.

Dr Schmeer is the best. She will fight for you and help you, but she'll tell you how it is even if you don't want to hear it. She is professional at all times yet warm and inviting. Best way to work with her is, don't lie. Be upfront and honest. She'll be my hand Doctor for life, because she's the only one I trust.

Dr Degen and staff (Adrianne) have been seeing me for a decade. They are the most caring, concerned, understanding western medicine type docs I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen too many. I cannot say enough good things about them. They actually listen..

It is unfortunate that Dr Lawlor has sold out to corporate money makers who want to deny patients anything their doctors have advised or prescribed so that the insurance company doesn't have to actually pay anything out. I'm not sure how it is possibly legal that companies like SAIF can require patients to go see this doctor for their conditions when she is paid to be their medical director. Seems like quite the conflict of interests. She acts so nice and even calls workers comp "workers complication" and then goes on to deny any treatments the prescribing physicians make.

This is a state of the art medical practice, performing, among other procedures, highly complex nerve conduction studies in patients with a wide variety of symptoms and medical problems, and providing necessary data and results to their doctors and surgeons to enable them to make necessary diagnoses and plans for oftentimes surgical corrections of painful problems, or aftereffects of traumatic or neurological or other conditions manifesting in dysfunction in the extremities. They study the way in which the nerves and muscles in the arms, legs, and related body structures do or do not properly conduct
