My partner and I had a terrific experience and Stephen’s shop. Stephen was the perfect gentleman and an excellent consultant on rings. He was very responsive to our preferences but also gave us sage advice on what to be wary of. His antique ring collection is spectacular. He has extensive knowledge of and appreciation for his wares but is not pushy in the slightest. We will definitely be back to visit him (and his little pup Bandit!) for any future jewelry needs and can without question recommend him for your jewelry considerations as well.

Worked with Stephen to re-size a couple of rings that were passed down from our family to be used for our marriage ceremony next week. I can not say enough good things about Stephen and his selection of jewelry. My fiance and I visited his store after a few unsuccessful trips to Jewelers Row. I was gifted my great-grandmother's wedding band and also a 40 year old special ring from my mother and found Beverley R through yelp (hi!). I was really nervous about getting these special rings re-sized and wanted to go to a specialist who was familiar with handling antique jewelry.

The owner made sure to call me to confirm the price he quoted me at for the resizing to get my ok before he started work and the resizing price was incredibly reasonable! I wanted to buy everything, necklaces, earrings too! Stephen was a delight to work with. He was patient, knowledgeable, never put pressure on the sale. I didn't find exactly the perfect item the first time, and he emailed me some new items as they came available. I had been shopping for an engagement ring for months, and after only a few minutes speaking with Stephen and Beverley I had found "the one" that fit the style and price point perfectly. We had looked around the Michigan Avenue area for wedding bands and visited some of the major jewelers in the area. We saw some nice rings to complement my fiance's engagement ring, but she didn't get the warm and fuzzy feeling that someone gets when they know they've found the right thing for them.
