We then moved to a 2 bedroom my husband was a double amputee a veteran so when we moved they put in the cover cement type cement carpet . The carpet was horrible the carpet was put in in pieces in which unraveled every where the apartments are not handicap accessible in wich when we coughed up nearly4000 we were told they were. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in 4 organs I called his son for help caring for him they refused to resign our lease because he was there mind you my husband weighed well over 200

I lived here for 3 years. Loved it! Had no issues. Maintenance crew were really cool and took care of issues within a day. I had a problem with the A/C at one point during after hours and they had it up in no time. Really appreciated that. Office staff were really great too. Pricing was not bad at all and the apartments were really nice. Only real issues were with a couple of other residents (short lived), but not really an apartment problem. I recommend.

Misinformation about the application process. Several calls to office to keep the process ongoing. When we would call they would state that they needed some type of new information, each time leaving us to wonder why they waited for us to check on the application instead of just calling us. Then when we told them to forget about our application, I received an email stating that our application was denied. I’m not sure the legalities of them lying through email but, I had to email them back and waste more of my time on them so, this didn’t hurt me in another application.

I lived there from 2009 to 2010 when I was stationed there. I would highly recommend it to other military members moving there. The only bad thing was they find anything possible to not give your deposit back. Nonetheless, the amenities were on point. I never had problems with cockroaches like Pines at Warrington. A few silverfish here and there but not an infestation. I slept better at these luxury apartments. I lost sleep at Pines at Warrington worrying about the cockroaches and I was also a full time student too. Village at Southern Oaks were extremely comfortable for me.

Living here was ok. I really liked the apartment I was in, facing the sunshine all day. After a year I needed more space and looked at a 3 bedroom, it was way too small and had a huge orange stain on it that they said I could just cover up. I decided not to stay there any further. I was a tenant that always paid my rent in advance and kept my apartment really neat and clean. When I left they kept my security deposit and claimed it was for nail holes in the walls and that a tiny 2 bedroom needed to be repainted. I left the apartment immaculate and a few nail holes are normal wear and tear. I will

I lived here with my family a little over two years ago. Recently, some of my mail accidentally got sent to this address. The team here went above and beyond to locate my package and get it to me. Thank you so very much to Debbie and Leanne for all of your help in resolving this situation! And a big thank you to the resident at my old address for your honesty and getting it to the office promptly!

I lived there for 5 years back when Danielle was the manager. She was the best!!!!! Very welcoming and friendly. The new staff that came after her in about 2009 thru 2011 were young, snobby, rude, and unfriendly. I didn’t get my deposit back and they wouldn’t even offer me a 12 year lease after I approached my 5 years as a tenant. I was NEVER late on any payments. I’m so glad to be out of that “small” apartment. It’s overpriced and we had a pest problem. Hopefully, staff has changed since then.

This place is pretty great! A home away from home. First off, the amenities are amazing! They have a nice pool, a hot tub and a really decently sized gym (which is hard to come by in an apartment building). The apartments are spacious and affordable and everyone from the staff to the residents are friendly! It's a great place to live. Why I only gave it four stars however is that some of the buildings are run down (but they are working on improvements) and apartments are a little dated. Other than that; love the place.

I just moved out of this complex due to a military move. I will say the management went over and above to accommodate residents in whatever way they need. They are friendly and know you by name. The complex is beautiful and kept immaculate. Reviews before I moved in said things like "the gate doesn't always work" and "the hot tub is always broken." I can attest the hot tub breaks sometimes but mostly works and is kept hot. The gate is closed on weekends but open during the week. Maintenance is fabulous--very responsive and mostly comes for same-day repairs even when you

My wife and I have lived here for the past 6 months. So far we are very pleased with VSO and would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a year or two slightly upscale rental. I concur with the other reviewers that the central air is not the most efficient and the appliances out of date. But overall these are small complaints and the front staff have been nothing but helpful and professional to us.

Me and my roomates had consistent problems while living here. For start, our room was not close to ready when we got there with missing ceiling fans and a broken screen door. The dryer was consistently not working, and the rest of our appliances were outdated. They charged us a months rent at the end for not notifying them a month in advance that we were leaving on military orders. We understood this was in the Florida legislature but other complexes are usually much more understanding. Finally, to top it off they charged us $160 out of our deposit for "cleaning" when I specifically

Hmmm, where to begin.
We lived here for three years. We had a three bed/two bath apartment that was on the top floor. The HVAC system was inadequate for this space. Our air conditioning unit basically ran non-stop in the summer months, and as a result, electric bills that were in the $250-$300 range per month was not uncommon - and we kept the temperature at 78-80 degrees (we had to use digital thermometers to figure that out - the in-unit thermostat was something out of the 1970s that made it difficult to figure out what the true temperature was). Because of the drafty doors and windows, I don

I lived here for a little under a year and really liked this complex. The management at the time was great, the neighbors are quiet, parking wasn't too much of a problem, the hot tub was always nice and warm and the gym wasn't half bad for an apartment complex either. If I ever have to move back to Pensacola, I would definitely consider living here again.
