Referred there for treatment. Waited over an hour to see doctor who then gave me 5 mins of her time to confirm reason I was sent there in the first place. I went there for treatment not to be referred to another practice for a non-emergency problem that should have taken care of there. Total waste of time. Obviously, will not go there again.

Staff is not the most welcoming, the doctors seem rushed, and the appointments take a long time. They also lowered my prescription because they had said my other doctor “overprescribed me.” Meanwhile, I was just there to get a renewed prescription to reorder contacts and get glasses that weren’t from a previous prescription. Now that they lowered my prescription, my glasses not strong enough in one eye and are only good for wearing around the house. At least they let me keep my old prescription for the contacts. Will be going back to my old doctor.

I have been with this place since I was a kid, I love my eye care doctor however their scheduling practice is very outdated. The woman who does their scheduling is incredibly rude and could have cared less about my reason for scheduling an appointment. The soonest appointment they had was 3 months from the day I called. I was having a serious decrease in my vision and asked to be put on a waitlist so I could get in as soon as possible. The woman scoffed and told me THEY DON'T HAVE A WAITLIST!! What place in 2020 doesn't have a waitlist? She told me to call EVERY DAY at 8:30a to see if someone canceled

I called this office for the first time, described my symptoms to Debbie L. who scheduled me for an urgent same day appt. She was kind and patient throughout the call. Dr. Mileham did my examination. She also was very kind and patient, explained things at length and did a very thorough exam. Because my matter was potentially quite serious, she asked Doctor Rumpf to do a second exam. Dr. Mileham and Debbie L worked quickly and efficiently to get me an appt with a Retina Specialist the same day. I can't say enough about the wonderful treatment I received from all the Doctors and staff at this office

My first visit to North Park Ophthalmology will be my last. My appointment was at 9:40 AM. I arrived at 9:30 to fill out paperwork. At 10:45 I still hadn't seen the doctor so I went up to the desk and asked them to confirm my appointment was in fact at 9:40. She confirmed it was and then went to check how much longer it would be. There were still 2 people in front of me that would go back to the exam room on top of those who were already in exam rooms who still hadn't seen the doctor. I could have easily been there another hour. It was totally ignorant of this office to disrespect

I called for my wife and said, "My wife would like an appointment." The person taking my call answered, "Your WIFE would like to make an appointment?" The implication was clear -- why was I calling for my wife?
Well, my wife asked me to make the call. So I made it clearer for the person on the other end of the call, "I'm calling to make an appointment for my wife." She said, "Ah," with a heavy dose of sarcasm. And then I hung up. Because really, life is too short to deal with people who answer the phone like this at a medical office.

Still seeing Dr. Taylor and I couldn't be happier with the service I am getting here. A couple things for new comers to keep in mind is that (at least with Dr Taylor) if you're time-constraint is tight you'll want a first-in visit time. I've noticed that on a couple occasions as the day progresses her schedule becomes very hectic and sometimes it lags behind. While I wouldn't find this acceptable for general eye appointments, I feel that it is ok for those of us who have more concerning needs like glaucoma, etc. The longest I've waited total from arriving to departure

Being that I currently don't have health insurance and needed an eye exam, I needed to find a place that offered the cheapest basic eye exam. They charge $85 when every other place I called wanted to charge me well over $100. Easy parking. Dr. Holly was great. She was very knowledgeable and had good people skills.. she seemed interested in me as a person and not just my eyes. I felt like I got a good exam. Including paperwork and having my eyes dialated (takes 10 minutes to kick in) I was in and out of there in 50 minutes. Not bad! I'm going to make Dr. Holly my permanent eye
