Our company started out in 1967 as a family-run gas station in Richmond, CA. We eventually added an auto repair shop to provide relief of the most common car complaints. Later, we branched out along with AAA to provide professional towing to our customers in the San Francisco Bay Area. Very rude person answering the phone. She said I had to be to her office by 6:00 same day and pay $600.
I explained I had been in a terrible accident, unable to drive and my car was totalled. They are in the bay area and I'm in the Sacramento area. Can we do this thru the mail. She said no. I also told her this car was stolen and I had reported it to the police my insurance company and DMV. She still was not going to work with me. Now she's trying to slap a Lien on me. I thought when you file a notice of non liability on the vehicle. You were no longer responsible.

The absolute worst experience of my life. they need an entirely new staff of people. these people are rude and disrespectful and one of the tow truck drivers almost hit my car and didnt even blink an eye or even bothered to apologize. i think its best for everyone if they just closed that tow yard down or like i said, hire a completely new staff

Worked with Mario and another fella (cannot pronounce, much less spell his name- from Hungry with a Minnesota accent) both great guys, really helpful and went above and beyond the call of duty to get our tractor to safety. Mario stayed with us until he knew we were good to go and (Hungry) was really friendly during the tow.

In short. They are short tempered and inhuman.
My wife and sister went to pick up car around 09:30.
They got attended @10:30 imagine having 3 kids at home and waiting on them for so long.
And when there is no good t mobile signal service i reached on location and i asked front guy why that much time he started talking rude and told me to go out and then i will process the work. After attending so bad i called police and they are laughing and they locked us down and told why police. Later police came and then we are able to go from there.

Our stolen car was unfortunately towed to this yard. After we paid them, our car was parked outside waiting for another tow truck to come. One of their drivers just took it out of that spot and towed it outside their facility without explanation or courtesy to inform us! We just watched him move it.
I asked if there were restroom facilities and the person by the window ignored me. The lady flat out said we don't and didn't offer any place

I don't know what their driver was doing going down our street for this to happen but their driver and truck ended up in our neighbors house. I would like to know what excuse they have? They are lucky they did not kill anyone. They creamed a parked car, went over bushes and into a house at 4 something in the morning. Driving fast? There were no skid marks so no breaking? Very scary to have this happen on your street by a professional company. Slow down. This was not a25mph accident.

Amazingly helpful, prompt and accommodating. Helped me with recovering my stolen motorcycle after receiving a criptic message from the local PD. Told me what I needed, where to get it and even tips on how to handle my insurance claim. I hope you never have your vehicle stolen, but if you do I can only hope that they are as awesome as Civic Center Tow in Richmond.

A poor excuse for a towing company.
My car was towed and that's okay, my fault. The towing company charged for 1 hour 45 minutes for a towing distance of 3.3 miles at 4:30 in the morning. I have watched this company tow other vehicles from my complex and it is never more than a 20 minute operation. They clearly lied about time taken for the tow. There is no possible reason other than trying to extort the public. I'm sure a claim will be made about time to arrive, time to prepare, time to load, time to leave, time to unload, but it is all garbage. This company is mechanical and tow cars

I needed a tow and called AAA. Paul came all the way from Richmond at 8:00pm to help me! I can't say enough great things about him!! He was professional, courteous and an all around great guy. Was able to get my large truck an me home safe and sound!!

This has been the worst experience having to deal with some guy called Jim (dispatcher) at civic center towing.~~~I call this guy to get my car out and he asked me if I had enough money.~~ he goes ahead to cuss me out because I didnt give him a yes/no answer to his question and after hungs up! I try calling again thinking he will understand that the reason am calling is to get my car back and the only way to do that is by paying the fees. He yelled some more and hung up again. finally he tells me that I cant get my car back because I didnt answer his qn.

$1000.00 TO towed my car from martinez to Richmond...they take advantage when you are in bad situation (accident)

After waiting 2 1/2 hours with a 2 year old for AAA to send out a different tow company...that decided to cancel the call because of the custom rims on the vehicle & NEVER call to let us know they cancelled our request. I call Civic Center Tow at 12:15am, they came within 15 minutes...our driver Sam was AWESOME! I will use you again & I will be sure to let AAA know they need to use your company for all of their tows... Thank you!

Worst place ever. Everyone was rude and unhelpful. The driver gave misleading information that led to them trying to charge me almost $700 for about 30 miles or towing and one night of storage. Everything was supposed to be covered by AAA. It took 6 hours on the phone with my insurance company and AAA to get them to only charge my for the overnight storage which was $80. The whole thing was a horrible scheme to get money. Pretty much holding my car hostage. Dreadful people. If it had taken any longer I would have called the police and filed in small claims court. I was pleasantly surprised to hear the roar of the flatbed truck pull up to my car. ---in record time--- My car broke down westbound, Hwy 4 on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I was stranded 5 miles from Hwy 80 and 9 miles from Martinez.
AAA dispatched a Civic Center Auto Care truck to my aid. A very pleasant driver loaded my car on to the flatbed truck and away we went. It was an easy transition from being in the comfort of my vehicle to the comfort of the Tow Truck. The inside of the truck was pleasantly scented and clean. It wasn't what I pictures. The driver even helped me into and out
