My car was towed by this company during sweep day my fault for not moving I take responsibility but they'll try to make keys for your car because they auction cars off if it sits there for over 30 days... I picked my car up the very next day for $500 and tried to open the driver side door with my key and my key did not work, Because someone jammed it trying to open it to make a key way before 30 days. I've been given the run around as far as fixing and reimbursement for my door lock. I was already charged $500 for a less than 24hr tow. So you can imagine my frustration. Not to mention

M & A towing is reckless, negligible, and when they damage your car they try to bribe you by tying up parts they damaged. My car was towed by M & A Towing during game day on Saturday and when I drove my car the next day, the impact bar had been damaged. While I was driving my car on the freeway the plastic was rubbing against my tires and road and I almost got into an accident. I lost two days of work because I could not use my car. The fact that their truck drivers did not point to damage that could have endangered my life and the life of others on the road just speaks volumes t their priorities

I had borrowed a friend's car and come the next morning the engine wouldn't turn over. I called AAA and was told that my service with them had "expired" and I was on my own. I on-line searched for a Service Company on the same major road I was on and got M&A Towing. I told them the problem and that I would be paying out of pocket. They quoted me $65 for the service call, got to me within 20 minutes, had a two man team, and had me out on the road in a few minutes. Very nice, respectful, didn't want me to get out of the car and had a bright shiny truck. Dealing

One of my family members passed away and their vehicle was towed to the M & A lot. I could not retrieve any of the contents because I live out of state. I contacted Wendy and she went above and beyond! She took photos of the vehicle's contents and even shipped some of them to me on her own time. I can't say enough to thank Wendy for everything she did during this difficult time. I offered to send her a gift card for her help, but she declined. There aren't enough good people like this in the world.

I was driving when I felt my car shaking so I pull over and I see my cars rear tire turned out to be completely flat! I had no spare and it was late at night so I called statefarm, they had referred me to M&A Towing. I am so glad that they had sent them over to my location. They knew exactly where I was so there was no issues with them finding me. The dispatcher said the ETA would be around 30-45 minutes. The tow truck driver arrived to my location in 20 minutes! My car was towed for the second time and this time it was M&A towing and from my past experience they did a good job and the price was fair as compare to my 1st experience. They seemed to be nice and fair. Despite the bad review my experience was good. Towing is expensive I agree and thank goodness my car was towed by M&A not by other towing company.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY THEY ARE CONTRACTED WITH BPD@HIGHWAY PATROL I got into an accident BPD suggested I get my vehicle towed because it was non drivable as well it was on a main road interfering with traffic(altho I had my own roadside assistance) not even 3 hours go by and they racked a fee of 400 plus dollars if you don't have an emergency 500 somewhere you can forget about your vehicle ....This business is shady and should be deemed frauds .....If you are in a accident and need to be towed make sure you let the CHP or PD know you have a tow truck that's en route if

This place is beyond ghetto. I'm shocked they're in business. Long story short...my car was stolen and was recovered by BPD. When I arrived and I was scared to get out the car. It's dirty and looks run down. The graffiti doesn't help. The lady who helped me in the front was nice, but tried to charge me an extra day. I'm not the one sweetie. I read EVERYTHING!

I'm over 65, this is my 14th motorcycle. M&A sent a small young Latino tow driver Who could not speak English, to tow my BMW motorcycle. This guy did not know much & was not properly trained to tow locked motorcycles! The steering was locked so he forced the handle bars breaking & jamming the steering lock instead of turning down the job or coming back with the right tools or enough strong men to lift my 500+ pound bike into a position where it could be properly put on the tow truck. Car got towed on a Friday evening a little after 5pm (apparently after their office is closed). $576 just to get the car out and $80 accrues every day you can't get it out, so that's $160 on top of the ridiculous price to get it out because, according the the man we spoke to on the phone, they're not open on weekends. When we called the number to get information the man on the phone told us that the office is closed and we need to call back Monday, when we asked where the tow company was located he hung up. Rude, unhelpful and EXPENSIVE!!! You people are thieves.

My experience of towing companies is they are either run by professionals who are excellent at their jobs and help people + charge a fair rate for hard work, or the kind of people that will lie and make threats.

Husteads Towing has been acquired by M & A Towing recently. Seems like the same drivers and same trucks are still being used but the impound lot has moved to San Pablo Ave. We mostly use them for private property tows when cars illegally park or are abandoned. They usually have a good response time and have varying types of trucks for every tow situation.
M & A does also does 24/7 roadside assistance and lockouts.
