True orthodontic emergencies are rare, but when they occur we are available to you. As a general rule, you should call our office when you experience severe pain or have a painful appliance problem you can't take care of yourself. We'll be able to schedule an appointment to resolve the problem. You might be surprised to learn that you may be able to solve many problems yourself temporarily until you can get to our office.

My youngest son just finished his 3 year ortho treatment with Dr. Gessel. I have two older sons who had their braces done at a different ortho, and although the experience with their treatments was satisfactory, it was nothing worth leaving a review about. However, I was completely impressed with every aspect of our experience with Dr Gessel and his team.
He is a truly compassionate, warm, caring doctor. He goes the extra mile to make his patients feel like they are part of his family. We had everything we needed during my son's entire treatment, with no extra charges. I felt like Dr. Gessel

The absolute best in skilled professional treatment combined with compassionate and dedicated staff. Dr. Gessel is both exceptionally knowledgeable and genuinely caring which is expressed in how he treats his patients.
