Services
If the ocean can calm itself, so can you. Welcome to Adrift Hotel + Spa, our little haven away from the world, nestled in the heart of the Long Beach Peninsula. Communal spaces across our property allow you the freedom to create your own experience. In our main (West) building you'll find our lobby with our signature locally roasted coffee, and wildcrafted teas, organic snacks, bikes to rent, board games, and places to just chill.

The West side has our lobby downstairs with complimentary coffee and tea, our game room with shuffleboard and foosball, our library, and our restaurant Pickled Fish on the top floor.
Includes cans of wine, a s'mores kit, firewood, newspaper, a beach blanket and a cart to take it all to the beach. Must be 21+ to book. All the ingredients for fun on the peninsula! As well as our fantastic seasonal rate, get a European breakfast, two local beers, and a 2pm checkout. As well as our seasonal rate, get a European breakfast, two local beers, and a 2pm checkout.

Love this place. We have been coming for 10 years now and they just keep making it better. If you have a dog in your family, this place and town are for you.

It was clean, that is the end of positives. It was like staying in a storage locker but with worse climate controls. The decor is rickety boxes bolted to the wall and some squares of carpet thrown on the floor. The curtains don't actually cover the windows. There is a cadet heater and no A/C. All of this would have been fine except the bed is somehow harder than sleeping on the floor. We finally gave up trying to sleep at 4 AM and went in search of pain relievers. Less comfort than a Motel 6 for Hilton prices. Can't recommend at all. Eat at Pickled Fish and go stay somewhere else.

We had breakfast here and it was simply delicious! The coffee was good, tasty options, good portions, and amazing views. Just have in mind that they charge a living wage fee for the employees.

A nice little hotel, right on the beach. And I do mean _right_ on the beach. They seem to cater to couples, so it felt a little odd checking in by myself, but it's a nice hotel, with clean rooms, and friendly staff. No complaints at all. I'd certainly rebook here the next time I am in Ocean Shores. So why not five stars? Well nothing stood out. They do everything right, but then so do most hotels. Still a good hotel in a prime location.

Great idea, best for families with kids who do not mind the noise. Second floor hears the conversation in the lobby. Rooms are dark and give you the summer camp dorm vibe. Everything is old and appears to be home made, but not by a craftsman
Good coffee and bikes to use. Ping pong and Foosball on 2nd floor

One of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in! Love the modern and industrial look and the beach is at your front door! View from the Pickled Fish is unmatched. Walls are a little thin but they provide ear plugs and a fan. Definitely coming back!

Groovy! Super nice, clean comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Amenities (soap, shampoo, etc) are in Multi-use bottles. THANK YOU for not being wasteful! Little snack store inside is VERY inclusive (gluten free and vegan options). Amazing hot tea and infused water for guests. Free bikes! Best hotel in Long Beach.

Giving two stars vs. one as payment for many previous good experiences here. That said, I have to agree with the majority of recent reviewers who rate this hotel poorly.......stayed across the parking lot from the old, main hotel and found the room cramped, hot and NOISY!

The new pool and sauna looked very nice and inviting except that it was largely taken over by families with loud kids and while I am sure that was nice for them, there was no room or solitude for the rest of us.

The location is great and the staff at the front desk were really quite pleasant and helpful BUT the Pickled Fish

Disappointed to say the least. We wanted to love this place- great location, dog friendly, bunk beds for the kids, indoor/outdoor pool, etc. Unfortunately we will never come back. One of the worst nights of sleep I've ever had in a hotel. Our room was located right underneath the kitchen/restaurant and the amount of noise coming from upstairs was atrocious. The noise continued until 2 am- I'm talking moving furniture around- SO MUCH NOISE. It resumed at 545 am.
We should've known when they provided ear plugs on the night stand.
The cleanliness of the room also was disappointing

Pros:
Beds were decently comfortable
Enough pillows
Staff was fairly polite

Cons:
Horrible upkeep.
Nasty filthy carpeted halls and stairs.
Incredibly over-priced.
Our bedding had obviously not been changed and was covered in human hair and sand. . . We had to change rooms to one that was almost as bad.
Online pictures are deceptively posh looking.
Furniture was very cheap and flimsy.
Pictures on walls weren't even framed art, just cardboard prints stuck to the wall.
Rooms are very small.
No AC.
Did I mention way over-priced.
Seriously, do yourself a favor and just stay somewhere else.

This place has as much charm as a funeral home. I've had warmer welcomes at them too. Front of house need training / educating to say the least. Manners are free, someone told me once......

It's a motel6 with grey interior and a few bikes in the lobby and kettle chips for sale.. Don't be fooled. Used to be a great place to stay and escape (5+ years ago)

Save your money.. Home Depot light fixtures and some rough cut timber nailed to a wall doesn't make something "hip".. no fan no ac.. bathrooms are old and dated and your sink is opposite your bed.. classy! Filthy

I used to love this place and went often, but now looking at the updated prices, I can't afford to go back. It used to be an affordable and unique spot, basic and convenient. I can't imagine what luxury updates must've taken place to justify that increase in rate per night. I mean wow.

Where do I begin!!!!
First, upon checking in, they changed my reservation. They moved me from an upper room in the Main Building to a ground floor room in their other building. Lights of cars shining in the window all the time since they were parked right outside our windows.
Second, the rooms are small and cheaply furnished. Orange crates for night tables and also used to prop up the mini-fridg. In addition, plastic chairs and what appeared to be a desk nailed to the wall from some school room.
Third, the lighting in the room was almost non-existent and the annoying fan in the bathroom

We stayed at The Adrift. Although we made the best of our 5 day stay, I wish I had looked further into the "hotel" (not sure I'd call this a hotel) before booking. We showed up and it was like driving into a protest/pride parade. They had BLM posters coving their windows and rainbow flags Everywhere. If Black Lives Matter Org. and Pride month are your thing, this is the place for you . It was not for us . We just wanted to relax and get away from all the craziness. Not pay our money to stare at it. ‍

Their rooms were super hot since they don't provide AC on hot days, just

Stayed here with my family for a few nights in June 2021. In general, we were very happy with our stay and would love to stay here again.

Highlights:
- dog friendly
- decent room size
- clean and well maintained
- located next to the beach and a few blocks from the main street
- free and good quality coffee, tea, and water in the lobby
- on site restaurant with room service
- free bike rental

They also have a pool, spa, and distillery. But we did not get around to checking those out. Were too busy at the beach and doodling around town.

The only thing that can use improvement is ventilation

We had a rough entry here. My company kindly spoiled us with a weekend here knowing that as essential workers during Covid, we were all beyond exhausted. It took us six months to be able to arrange for some time to use it. We booked online, but first called the hotel, explained that we had a gift certificate and wanted to make sure we could use it. The receptionist said absolutely, just bring it with you. I asked if he needed the number or any information and he said nope, you're all good!

Then we showed up and were told our gift certificate would only be accepted for one of the two nights

Hip, cool and trendy. None of the stuffy, formal, 'be-careful-not-to-break' decor and appointments. Interiors were a mix between industrial and country-- tables made out of pallets, painted water pipes as toilet paper holders, lamps out of bulbs, wire and pipes. Pretty cool. Pillows, Sheets, towels, robes are soft, fluffy and white. Top quality. Beds are firm and cooling memory foam (to my liking). Toiletry line is high-end. Natural and pleasantly scented. Lobby is inviting. Local coffee and teas, infused water, accessible 24/7. Bikes that can be borrowed for a pleasant ride along the

A few things to note before booking your stay here:

We had the king east room: Room is ok, just like other reviews it's very basic, bed, small fridge, small sink, and bathroom. Bathroom, however, clogged shower tub, drains super slow, huge no no for us.

We asked for room service, for extra soap and a glass to drink... never got it.

TV free movies, none. Tv did work on one Chanel2, katu news. Other than that, all the other channels work did not work, internet, very blotchy and very slow. We went down to the lobby for assistance and their response, We are very busy this weekend, so the

I'd say closer 3.5-4 : I just stayed recently for the 3rd or 4th time and noticed the uncleanliness, no window screen and super loud upstairs neighbors. With having pets in the room and no window screen we didn't feel safe opening the window wide which was a bummer since it made the room stuffy, plus we didn't get to hear that classic ocean sound.

Their spa, Pickled Fish restaurant, location, lovely pool & sauna, and amenities like bikes still made it a great stay overall. The couch layout in the Queen+ room was perfect for the pets too. However, I think Adrift needs to focus

Let me start by saying that this hotel was in a great location, right by the beach and close to everything. The room service was great, and the hotel staff was super nice. We also loved that we could bring our dogs along.

The room on the other hand was a little different than what I had expected. The ocean view was beautiful, but there was an entire parking lot in the middle of that view. The bed was not very comfortable but it was alright. Just wasn't really what was portrayed on their social media.
