If you have a commitment to your recovery our treatment team will work with you to produce results that are second to none. Today most health care is driven by numbers and quotas. At Gainesville Physical Therapy we don't treat numbers, we believe that healing results from a personal, supportive relationship.
The Gainesville Physical Therapy team has one goal: providing you with effective and successful rehabilitation. We give you personal attention on every visit to ensure a continuity of care and to offer support and encouragement in your recovery. Our staff works closely with you and your physician to create a program that is specifically tailored to your needs.
Jeff Skorput sits to my right and Ree Hyatt to my left. Each session lasted 90 minutes. Between appointments, I spent numerous hours at home performing exercises and stretches they assigned me. Having followed their recovery plan that long, I applaud their place, people, program, and the progress they helped me make.
We know that you probably have a lot of questions regarding physical therapy, and how we plan to help you recover from your injury. We want to make sure that all of your questions are answered prior to starting your treatment program. PT Jeff Skorput is amazing!!! I have been to chiropractors and other PT, but Jeff has taught me things no one has ever taught. He has helped me learn how to correct my problems with the correct exercises to keep my body from getting back into bad shape. I would highly recommend using PT Jeff Skorput

I've been treated by Kristen Basinger (PT, CHT), for several months. Initially, I could barely use my right arm and hand. My goal was to regain 50% of my pre-surgery levels of mobility and strength, within a year's time. I'm now at 80%+, and fully expect to be at 90% by year-end.
Kristen is one of the very few CHT's in this area. She is very knowledgeable, yet listens to you, and incorporates how your body is reacting into the therapies she uses- basically letting you help design your treatment, within the framework of her knowledge.

Had the worst experience with this place. Would NEVER recommend it to anyone!!!! Total scan to even set foot in the building. Was told my fee would be no more than a certain amount and was charged 3 or even 4 times the amount. Still in major pain and have a hard time moving. Office staff was not friendly at all!!!!

First visit before I was even examined I was shown a video on SI problems. Vickie Sims told me one leg was longer than the other. She grabbed a book which she had written and started writing in it. When I checked out I was charged $26 for the book and was never told I had to purchase it. She started treating me for S I joint problems which after I went to orthopedic Dr. found out that I did not have this problem and both legs are the same length. I feel that her whole treatment is set up to sell her theories and her book even if it does not apply to the patient.

I got a refferal from a Co- Worker about this place. I was going to a Chricoptracor for 2 to 3 years. Didn't seem to help much. Asking my co-workers options and he told me about Gainesville Physical Therapy. Best decision I've made. The staff Rocks nice to everybody always smiling friendly each team member helping others. And they know what's going on.

After seeing countless medical professionals for my sacroliac joint pain, I eventually decided to do some online research, That's when I first heard about Vicki Sims. She is a physical therapist who specializes in Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction. Desperate and with little alternatives, I decided to purchase a plane ticket and go see Vicki in Georgia. It was the best decision of my life! Vicki was very knowledgeable and after several weeks my years of pain had drastically improved!
