Pediatric speech-language pathologists diagnose and treat delays in communication/social skills, articulation/sound production, language development, oral motor skills, and feeding development. Pediatric physical therapists provide treatment for children who have delayed gross motor skills and/or lack flexibility, strength or endurance.
Occupational therapy practitioners are skilled professionals whose education includes the study of child development. They provide a treatment approach with specific emphasis on the vestibular, sensory and fine motor components of a child's skills. The Sensory Integration and Praxis Test (SIPT) measures the sensory processing or perception that is related to academic achievement, language development, and social behavior in children.
Pediatric physical therapists are uniquely trained to identify movement disorders and delays. They specialize in evaluating the high risk infant or one that is suspected of having a neurological disorder. They also treat children as they develop into childhood and adolescence. Treatment includes exercises that improve strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.
Our speech-language pathologists are nationally certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and are trained to assess and treat delays and disorders in speech (articulation), language, social skills, oral motor skills, and feeding/swallowing. The nature of the treatment will vary based on a child's age and individual needs.

We have really enjoyed our experience with Tender Ones Therapy. Everyone has been very helpful, kind, and supportive since day one. We especially love Courtney who sees our daughter each week. Courtney really takes her time with our daughter and we have seen much improvement in her speech since we started there.

I’m so Pleased with Ms . Marion, the way she has lessons and task ready for Andrews sessions. She is always So encouraging. She Never gives up on him, during a task, and if he messes up , she has a way about her , that he never knows, and he completes the task. She pushes him , and she doesn’t give up or in. This is exactly what Andrew needs. She makes his therapy fun, interesting and exciting. We are So Blessed to have Ms . Marion in our lives. I know she has a hard job , but you would never know it. She Always keeps him focused and busy. In the time we’ve spent with her , Andrew has mastered

My son has been going to TOTS since 2018 & I highly recommend them to any parent who is looking at therapy for their child. I remember feeling overwhelmed with my son needing Physical, Speech & Occupational therapy. TOTS has always helped with being understanding with the whole transition. Madison, an Occupational therapist, was always great in communicating with me any goals set for my son, and suggestions to reach these goals. We love all of the staff at TOTS & appreciate every milestone they've helped us reach!

I have no words for this group of therapists!!! My son is severely delayed. He doesn’t walk, talk, or anything he should be doing. BUT, after a a few months here, he has shown so much progress in everything!! He says more words, he’s crawling, he’s eating new foods... I cannot say enough words to show my appreciation. My son LOVES all of his therapists, and the front desk ladies as well. I’m so glad we found TOTS!

Both my sons see mrs. Courtney for speech therapy and in the past months we have seen so much improvement on both boys speech. We went from zero words to having them asking for things now.
She is amazing at what she does, she has so much patience to deal with the boys tantrums. Always looking out for them and making sure they have a great time in therapy. She is always giving us amazing tips when it comes to helping the boys at home. Honestly we very thankful she came part of the boys lives ❤️.
Andrea from the front desk is amazing at her job, very nice and polite at all times 😄.
