Owner, Tom Cicalese, began his career as a funeral director at Hoyt at the age of 18. After working for the Hoyt family for seven years, he purchased the home with a partner who has since retired. After 45 years of continuous service, Tom and his staff are as dedicated as ever to delivering funeral and cremation services at the highest level.

Tom Cicalese became interested in the funeral profession at age 18 when he was first employed by Hoyt Funeral Home of New Canaan. He enrolled in Mortuary School at New England Institute of Anatomy in Boston, Massachusetts where he obtained his degree in Mortuary Science. Within seven years, Tom became President of the Hoyt Funeral Home.
