Dr.Tran is amazingggg!! I have been seeing him for quite sometime and the care and attention that’ll you receive is consistent and genuine. The gift of clear vision is really a blessing and the fact that he has been able to restore my vision to a point that I didn’t know I could reach makes me extremely happy! I’ve been coming here for years. I am very well please with the service provided by Dr. Tran and his staff each time I visit. Dr. Tran is thorough and he is down to Earth. He doesn’t just visit with you and leaves the room within 15-20 minutes. His feedback is always for the best for healthier eyes and not just for collecting money from patients. No insurance, go see them anyway, they have discounts. The copays and cash payments are worth paying. I plan to continue coming here. I wouldn’t feel comfortable going anywhere else.

Dr Tran and his staff are great! For some reason those eye test machines and that puff of air one right in the eye make me nervous. My eyes have high pressure and are extremely sensitive. It can be hard to get a reading on me, but they are patient and quick. Dr Tran is the kind of doctor you never want to lose. He's just so kind and friendly and upbeat. A good family man and a great doctor. They also are good at helping pick out the right frames if you want glasses or sunglasses. Definitely a five star worthy experience!

This is a great place for taking care of your eyes! Meeting with Dr. Tran has always been engaging and fun. He is an experienced and very efficient doctor. He tries to explain things simply and straightforward. His staff are very nice and efficient too. They always try to make the patients comfortable.

I've been with doctor Huey T. Tran, O.D. for 8 years. He along with his staffs are very kind and friendly. Doctor Tran is a very concerning doctor, who take his patients eye health very serious. Doctor Tran is the best optometrist, who explains everything to his patients. His office is very clean and safe for everyone. Very pleased with this place, the staff, and my doctor. I will highly recommend to friends and family.

I always look forward to my visit to keep my eyes healthy. Dr. Tran is a fantastic doctor and he specializes in eye disease and vision disorders. He and his staff really makes you feel safe with the epidemic situation right now. They schedule the appointments where you're not waiting with a lot of people in the lobby area. They have a nice selection of frames. His location in Carrollton has plenty of parking. I would definitely recommend him to others!

The doctor seemed to just assume my prescription from my eye images. Which is all well and fine. But then when I did the test of what's better, A or B, I told him neither were good. He didn't try any other prescriptions. He just went on a schpeal about how it's subjective and patients always think stronger is better. So he actually reduced my prescription.
I get my glasses and can't see a damn thing.
I have to do a follow up. He tests me and I can finally see a bit better in the tests. He starts going on

Been going to him for 3 years. Very nice but - all the while I had macular degeneration. Dr. Tran may or may not have recognized the problem. Told me I had floaters and cataract. It's macular degeneration, which might have been successfully managed if he acknowledged the condition first time I saw him. Definitely not going back.

I'm so impressed by Dr. Tran. I've seen him twice now for eye exams, and he is so kind and caring towards his patents. He's passionate about his work, and explains all the eye testing in detail, even showing images of your own eye to you in the process. I've never had a more comprehensive eye exam than the ones I've had with Dr. Tran. He is an incredible doctor!
He now also has a location in Frisco. I've been to both the Midway Rd office and the Frisco office. Both are easy to find and the office staff are incredibly kind and professional.

I got a new job and my current eye doctor wasn't in network so I found Dr. Tran. He seems like a genuinely nice doctor who cares about the health of your eyes and taught me things about my eye that I didn't know. His mother went blind from Glaucoma and he focuses on your eye health and keeping it healthy. They gave me sample contacts to try out and see how I liked them and then he wanted to see me back the next week to dilate my eyes. I have never been charged for a contact fitting before, and I wasn't too happy about that. I've worn contacts for years. But they don't charge

I tried Transvision Eyecare about two years ago when the DMV told me I didn't pass the eye test. So much for my Lasik surgery! Apparently I have had some "regression" but that's a whole other Yelp review. Sure enough, Dr. Tran told me that my eyes were in bad shape from years of contacts, sun exposure and from the Lasik surgery. Dr Tran is the best - i've been seeing him for the past 7 years. TransVision is right by my work so i just walked in based on the convenience of the location.
I went in with an eye ulcer from my bad contact habits - with his advice and explanation on how to keep my eyes healthy my vision has not changed since my first visit back in 2008!
He and his staff provide a great level of care and always show appreciation for being a loyal patient.

I made an appointment at Dr. Tran's office because my usual optometrist was booked two months out and I was running out of contacts.
I couldn't be happier with the level of care provided by Dr. Tran and his office staff. From making the appointment to paying and scheduling a follow up the ladies at the front office were professional and very sweet. The cost for a contact lens fitting with optomap was lower than at my previous optometrist as well.

You get your prescription, no questions asked, with PPD so you can buy your glasses anywhere else (I've done online because it beats my vision plan's discounts). There is absolutely no pressure to buy something from the office.
Dr. Tran is honest. I asked him about Lasik and he said that if I was his sister, he'd recommend that I do _not_ get it. He said while they would make a good amount from the procedure, I wouldn't be happy with the results.
I'll be hitting them up later this week to have them adjust some glasses I bought elsewhere
