I was a patient at Sundance for 10+ years. While it’s true that “any methadone clinic is better than no methadone clinic” when it comes to saving lives, had I realized how easily I could take my business and my code elsewhere, I would’ve done so a long time ago.
Sundance cuts every imaginable corner to save costs. Even the take home bottles are rarely the same for more than a few months: the clinic buys just enough cheap bottles, while the patients are expected to buy new lock boxes to accommodate the size differences.

I spent 3 years dealing with CAP In downed grove and finally switched to the CAP on river north. First of all, CAP is just horrible. They immediately recommend going with a higher dose sometimes without even seeing the doctor; probably because the doctor is fighting multiple criminal cases.
Anyway, I switched to Sundance and the experience what night and day. They whole staff is wonderful. They seem to truly care, and will support you tapering off because they realize methadone treatment should not be done for years and years. I took my brother in to this hell hole for help. On the second day after pleading with him to go back the gentleman at the desk who turned out to be the executive director Tony Woodward immediately greeted us with a condescending attitude belittling my brother for saying that he needed more help that his dose wasn't working. I brought him here to get help and your going to treat him like trash and deny him the help. If you want your loved one to continue to relapse bring them to this place. This guy needs to find another job if he doesn't want to help people get better why is he there.

This Clinic, as far as Methadone goes, is one of the very best I have ever been to! The staff are extremely polite & PROFESSIONAL! Something I'm not used to @ Methadone Clinics..... It actually feels like you are @ a Doctors office! It's very clean & hygenical! It always smells of disinfectant! Which to me is great, that means you clean your facility on a daily basis. Everyone is very kind & helpful! You may get into some problems if you're playing "dope fiend games" But yeah this place is excellent!

The staff is very caring here and make me feel that they truly care about me and my recovery/progress. I highly recommend this place as they offer great counseling as well as Methadone treatment. Great place, staff and convienient location. They have reached out to ME with concern when I'm having problems and not many places have made me feel they truly care.

After having a horrible experience going yo Family Guidance, I transferred here, and BOY is it a breath of fresh air. They treat their patients like actual human beings, the staff are generally in a good mood and willing to help. They are willing to do a dose increase if you REALLY need it, as opposed to other places that look down on you for even asking (god forbid!).
I've only been here a few days, and I can already tell I'm going to love it here. They recently got funding from the state, so if you have medicaid and are willing to go to a couple of groups a week, you should transfer, especially

Only 2nd time guest dosing anywhere ever, first time here. Staff was very friendly and efficient. I was in and out in under 15 minutes. Also, much to my surprise for such big city there was no wait whatsoever.... maybe one person in line in front of me so I guess that is because of the availability of clinics all around the city
