They are so rude here! Not even the most basic understanding of customer service exists in this place. I was ignored standing at the deli and passed over for another customer. When I pointed out that I was next, the guy behind the counter (who I actually suspect was the owner) looked offended at my audacity and came up with some BS excuse for his behavior by saying how he can only help me if I was standing on the side of the deli he was on. When I didn't react, he begrudgingly asked me what I wanted. The whole interaction was so uncomfortable. All he needed to say was "sorry I didn

I just recently found this place and I thought it was great until I had an issue with their food. I reached out to the store and drove there to see the owners and he didn't even bother to walk out of his b/s office to hear me out. Sending the cashier to handle it!! Service sucks because apparently people are too busy to address their customers concerns. They lost a customer today and yes you have food that's horrible and when a customer comes to you upset that dinner was ruined by your product you walk out like a man and address it.

NOVA is by far one of the cleanest and organized markets in the Glendale area. They're food is delicious and their ready to go salads always save the day when we are hosting. I'm so weary of the 1 star reviews on here who literally have no other reviews given. Very strange. Trust me when I say I am picky and a clean freak and Nova has never disappointed. They're produce is also always fresh and stocked and I have never seen a single expired item as other "reviewers" are claiming. Overall, give them a try and you can judge for yourself. Great selection, good prices. However, they are not requiring their customers or employees to comply with Glendale mask ordinances. It's not a huge place and yet in the span of 5 minutes, I encountered 5 shoppers and 1 employee not wearing masks. The babaganouj is great, but it isn't worth it. If you're concerned about your health and public safety, don't go.

The shawarma beef and chicken was horrible! I'm sorry my Armenian friends but maybe ownership should step in and change the recipe to this delicious sandwich gone bad here at Nova market. Also no bread for our shopping. We also bought salads and I give that 3 out of 5 stars. I didn't take a picture of the sandwiches but it was very dry and the flavor was not of a shawarma sandwich. Where's the taziki sauce? Where is the flavor. Keep it original so people get the taste they are looking for. Please stop making a house sandwich and calling it shawarma. Maybe if it was just a chicken

Wow! That was certainly disappointing! The first few times I went in I got great service and friendly smiles and assistance. I came in with my Wife who is African American and we got followed around the store and never were asked for help. The checkout was silent and awkward. WILL NOT BE BACK. The best revenge----don't spend any money and support racist attitudes.

Based on the ownership's response we decided to go in to give it another try. It seems the team meeting was effective. There was a noticeable difference in the overall experience this time.

I was here just literally 5 minutes ago . And let me just say I felt uncomfortable & humiliated bye the clerk 2020 . Needs to adjust her attitude & check how she handles people when they Pay Rude really wrong .. now i do get it that I'm huge overweight but still that's not a way for this lady to be disgusted & very unwanted rude towards others made me uncomfortable & upset went home emotionally.. I bet she is the mother or family member of the owners and nothing is going to happen with her costumer service .. 2 months I came bye same this man I. The deli just looked at

First time at Nova Market, excellent & clean, very very nice employees & very helpful. Lots of choices on precooked Persian & Middle Eastern foods. Can't wait to try them all. The cleanest market I've ever seen and every employee was so nice, professional and very helpful. Delicious and healthy salads, prepared foods & fresh marinated meats & fish
