Services
We are proud to embrace traditional values, diversity, and innovation in honoring the spirit and life of each person we serve. Letting go of a loved one is usually a very difficult process. In order to provide your family peace-of-mind, our funeral home offers complete care, so you can focus on comforting each other as you prepare to say goodbye to someone dear to you.
When it comes time to care for a deceased loved one, you may feel overwhelmed and confused about the next steps and options. Our funeral home staff members are here and ready to help. Whether you'd like a funeral or a more creative celebration of life, we can assist you to select the funeral service options that hold the most meaning for you and your family.
Obituaries act as quiet reminders of the finite nature of our lives. Yet, for those who have recently experienced the death of a family member or friend, an obituary means so much more. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
G. K. Chesterton wrote, Courage is almost a contradiction in terms. It means a strong desire to live taking the form of readiness to die. The men and women who served in the armed forces, whether during a time of war, or one of peace, are living examples of that contradiction. Each should be honored and remembered, so that our gratitude never fades.
A meaningful funeral should encompass a person's life here on earth. It can be one that brings many people from the community together for a celebration of one's life or on the other hand it can be as simple as a private graveside service with only immediate family members present. In between those two extremes there are many options to consider.

Charlie was so wonderful and he picked up in the essence of what our family needed and wanted with us explaining very little just off experience in his profession. I would recommend anyone who needs funeral arrangements to go visit Charlie Garefino. He was very personalable and knowledgeable of things you need to take care of after a loved one dies. He was soft, understanding, good listener, patient and general respect for my loved on who passed.

Our families experience with Garefino Funeral Home was beyond exceptional. Every detail was explained and well executed. I greatly appreciated all the great pointers and the recommendations for the luncheon after the services. I could not have asked for a better experience at such a tragic moment in our lives. If you are in the local New Hope, Lambertville, or Flemington area and are in need of a professional and local funeral home Garefino is the place to go! Thank you again for helping us plan the most beautiful funeral.

I cannot recommend Garefino Funeral Home highly enough! Working with Charlie and his staff made a very unhappy time in my life much smoother and more bearable than I would have imagined possible. Having little familiarity with funeral homes in my area, and faced with the sudden death of my spouse, I literally chose Garefino blindly after a quick Google search. It was one of the best decisions of my life. From the get go, Charlie was compassionate and considerate. He anticipated questions, suggested options, and offered wise counsel. In the midst of grief, one forgets many details and Charlie consistently

Charlie is a wonderful guy and is very compassionate when dealing with the death of your loved one. He follows up and offers help in all of the processes that one has to deal with when a loved one passes. He even drove an hour and forty-five minutes to pick up my mom; I greatly appreciated this and all of his help during this truly difficult time.

Charlie Garefino made a difficult time, so much easier to deal with. His attentiveness to every detail and request was greatly appreciated. Despite the fact that we took a lot of time to schedule the Memorial Service and interment, due to family scheduling issues, Charlie was extremely accommodating. I will always be grateful to Charlie for ensuring that my wife's wishes were faithfully honored. I highly recommend Garefino Funeral Home!

Not living in the area for 30 years and never planning a funeral before was difficult enough but add in the emotional stress of a loved one passing and the task became unbearable. However, that's where Charlie Garefino stepped in. The Garefino Funeral Home was professional and helpful on every level. From planning a service and helping find sources in the community to speak at the service to suggestions on locations for a luncheon everything was handled with ease. While this experience will never be an easy one, Charlie Garefino's focus on details and comfortable manner do make it so much smoother

Our family lost both our parents within 7 months. Charlie guided us through both processes (cremation and non-cremation) with gentility and grace. We were all grateful for his expertise and thoughtfulness. Julia's help with our mother was amazing. There are so many details to consider, and we weren't prepared for most of them. Charlie was simply a huge help!
