We opened our doors in 1990 on the chic, neighborhood shopping street, Montana Avenue. Marmalade Cafe was embraced by the Santa Monica locals who loved our fresh baked goods and healthy fare served in a charming setting. Since that time, the Marmalade Family has grown to include a vibrant, full-service catering company and now we have cafes in neighborhoods all over Southern California.
We are pleased to announce that we have partnered with the Annenberg Community Beach House! Marmalade Cafe is now a preferred caterer for the stunning beachfront venue. The Annenberg Community Beach House at Santa Monica State Beach is a public facility located on 5 acres of oceanfront property.
The Beach House combines elements of the historic Marion Davies Estate with new amenities to create a truly unique community destination that's open to all - no membership required.With spectacular views, splash pad, children's play area, gallery, historic pool, and Marion Davies Guest House there's something for everyone to enjoy at the Beach House!

The Log Cabin Home, Red Barn and cozy Writers Cottage, along with the large greenhouse garden and meadows covered with hundreds of Costal Live Oak and a hilltop mountain with many vistas has made the property a perfect location for many movies, shorts, commercials, and TV episodes.Blackberry Creek Farm welcomes couples who wish to use the property for rustic, intimate weddings.

Unfortunately Marmalade parking now forces you to use the metropolis app, which is highly invasive and frankly, stupid. What if you don't have your phone with you? You can't have lunch? That's f'd up. See the Nov 9 2021 LA Times article by David Lazarus if you want to find out just how invasive this app is. So, won't be going to Marmalade so much as we used to! Food is not good enough to justify having this forced on me.
