If that's the case then you've found the right place. Our clients receive highly confidential treatment in a safe environment where they can address their challenges and learn skills to manage the everyday stressors that make recovery difficult. We are an outpatient program designed for working adults who are employed and live at home.

We provide long-term, sustainable treatment for substance abuse disorders. Confidential Recovery is an excellent option for continued treatment and support once individuals have been stabilized in a detox or a residential treatment program. Generally, our clients are high-functioning individuals who share the need for treatment in a confidential environment.
Services
We serve people who are looking to receive counseling & support in order to maintain abstinence from an addictive substance that has negatively impacted their lives. Many San Diego professionals come to our program to receive the support of our talented and multidisciplinary team who can work through the issues that are contributing to their substance misuse.
Confidential Recovery is comprised of certified professionals and experienced specialists who are led by CEO Scott H. Silverman. A CNN Hero of the Week Award recipient, nationally known for leading successful recovery programs and having over 31 years of continuous recovery himself, serves as our CEO.
We've been helping professionals, first responders, veterans, and other adults sustain lasting recovery for years right here in San Diego. We have night and day sessions to work with your schedule. We facilitate our daily groups in an uplifting professional space that is also private and confidential.
We are tucked away in an area that was chosen to provide ultimate privacy in which clients feel secure while participating in their recovery program-just like the treatment program the location was chosen to support it. We have created a homelike setting in our facility and many are surprised on their first visit to see how comfortable and non clinical the interior is when the exterior is so industrial.
In this video, created by the San Diego County Meth Strike Force, you can hear the remarkable story of our CEO and founder Scott Silverman. Like so many of those whom Scott has helped, he has struggled with depression and drug use himself. After receiving prescription medication as part of treatment for his depression, Scott continued mixing in alcohol and illegal drugs, which had a destructive effect on his wellness.

CR is really a one stop for all your recovery needs. The staff are super supportive and are there to give you the best guidance for your substance addiction recovery. Mind and body health experiences. There is no judgement or shaming. As a recovering alcoholic myself I have been in this program for 10 months (sober) . Let me tell you . I have learned more about myself and the pathology of my addiction than I could have received anywhere else. There are only 5 stars but I would give 10. I give 5 stars just for the snacks.

Coming here has been one of the best decisions I ever made for myself. The staff are angels sent from heaven, and therapy here is like no other I have received. IOP includes multiple different approaches that focus on all aspects of life- mind, body, and spirit. I feel so connected, supported, and encouraged by both staff and other group members. This place is truly amazing!

When I entered Confidential Recovery I had no idea why I had addictive tendencies, how, or if I would be able to overcome them. Through the personal attention I received from the caring, experienced, therapists, and interactive group sessions, the sources of my addictive behavior were brought to light. The awareness exercises enable me to recognize cravings and allow me to use the skills learned to redirect my thoughts in a healthy direction. I now have a set of tools to approach social and personal situations constructively, which have, and will continue to improve relationships at all levels

When confidentiality is of utmost importance when considering which Intensive Outpatient Program to attend, this facility's name says it all. They are so private, they even keep their location a challenge to find...even though they are hiding right out in the open in central San Diego. Why the secrecy? Because some people: politicians, media professionals, physicians, law enforcement, and other first responders are often in highly sensitive positions where just the hint that they are receiving help for chemical dependency and related problems could be...hmmm, let me put this well...problematic
