Granted, I'm still a family doctor, but identifying myself solely as a physician is cutting myself short. I became a physician because I wanted to help people. Over the last 5+ years, I realized that I was not going to practice traditional medicine for the rest of my life, because I wasn't making the impact I intended.

So much of relationships come down to a good fit. Think about any relationship you have - whether it's with your significant other, coworker, friend, physician, pet, or otherwise. What makes this relationship work (or not work) for you? A large part of it is the intangible, but very real 'fit.'. Are willing to do some serious work to make change that will be sustainable for the long term.
