Because of our reputation and, as a result, the strong customer base that we have built in the Cleveland, Ohio area for 60 years. Because of our modest advertising expenditures as our customers are our best advertisement. Because of our prime location in Woodmere, Ohio, just off of 1-271 and Brainard and our easily accessible business entry.
Shaker Coin pays top price for your diamonds and diamond jewelry. Our reputation for professionalism and integrity is backed by years of diamond buying and selling in Cleveland Ohio, since 1959. Don't pay triple markup! Diamonds are bought and sold based on the four C's - cut, clarity, color, and carat.
American Silver will be marked, "sterling silver" and older pieces may be marked, "925/1000." If your items are marked, silverplate or EPNS or quadraplate, then they are not sterling silver. There is not enough silver in silverplate, EPNS or quadraplate to make it worthwhile to sell these items for their silver content.

In my opinion honesty and savings are the hallmarks of this coin shop. Jim knows his stuff and if you’re willing to learn he’s willing to educate. He has great stock and at great prices. You could around and get today’s price for ASE’s, or you can just save some time and go see Jim and his wife. They also buy gold and very competitively. I’ll definitely be back!

I was referred to Shaker Coin by a business associate and I'm so glad I was. They were extremely professional and discreet. Great place to sell estate jewelry, as well as silver.

Today I called in to see if they do any sort of coin grading or would just be able to look at older coins for me. And before I could finish my sentence I was rudely interrupted by the person I talked to on the phone and told "No I can help you, no we dont do that". I wouldn't have minded him telling me no that's wasn't the issue but being interrupted and talked down to was beyond me. Please do better.

I recently sold my sterling silver here and was very pleased with my experience . I was greeted very warmly and professionally . I was able to receive a very fair price for my flatware and was very happy .. I will go back there again and send all my friends there . The couple that own the store could not have been more pleasant
Thank you both

Walked in and asked about Morgan silver dollars. Gentleman put on a mask and then pretty much said they don’t have anything to sell and we’re very rude 🤷 worst and most unprofessional “coin and jewelry” store. Asked if he recommends anyone local but he said it’s at your fingertips. Like really how rude, some people just don’t care I guess idk. Wish them all the best tho

I have bought coins and stamps from them since I was a child, I lave left emails on their site and since I have know this owner so long I even sent him the question on facebook, my time is worth money, as I would assume they consider theirs also. I dont know how they are in business if they cannot reply to an email In a timely fashion. It sucks I have know Jim since he worked out of La Place and I attempted to re establish a business connection with him. There are plenty of other dealer in the area to work with. My fiancee and I will go somewhere else, its just a Shame Albert Baumann told Cindy

I took an old ugly Ring in to see what I could get for it when I was in the area. They were not rude but you do feel like your stuff is not good enough. Like they assumed I thought I was trying to sale it whole, not for the gold. Then she lied and said they Aren't buying rings right now, no one is because they are hard to resale but the sign out front and website says otherwise. Anyway, they low balled me for even what the gold was worth.
