Our rental application is completely electronic, and you can apply online for any of our vacant units. Please visit the Find A Home tab to see our current inventory. Once you have found a property you wish to apply for, click 'View Details' and then click 'Apply Now' on the rental listing. We will review your application and follow up with further instructions.
You can apply online through our website. You will be prompted to pay your application fee via credit card. We will follow up with you once we have reviewed your application. In addition to avoiding late fees, you can actually build your credit by paying your rent on time! By reporting your payment history to Experian RentBureau, we can help you reap the rewards of getting your rent to us by the 1st.

I have had a great experience with SMTX Property management. The person who answers the phone is always so polite and helpful, and I’ve never had much of a problem getting maintenance out on time. It’s never a problem when I need an extension on rent or to take the late fees off.

I genuinely have never hated living under a property management as much as I do this one. They send out people to work on our house without telling us, when the people they send out do the work they don’t clean up, the house is falling apart. The ac never works, the power goes out all the time, there’s pipes rotting in our backyard they never did anything about, and the main selling point of our home was the backyard, but our dogs keep getting out of the fence because it’s chicken wire mashed together. They never respond to any of my texts despite my name being on the lease. Plus on the day

I have lived in one of SMTX's properties for over a year now. My entire complex is having issues with water... it is either flooding apartments, coming out disgustingly brown filled with dirt, or there is not even enough pressure to take a shower. They continue to charge full price for rent but refuse to do anything about the water problems. I received a letter in the mail "terminating our lease agreement" due to nonpayment, but we have told them numerous times we will pay the rent when the water is fixed. Nothing has happened. Watch out for these guys and read your lease!!
In mine they had a lien on all of my stuff that was going to be placed in the apartment so in the event something occurred regardless of whether it was my fault, they would be able to lay claim to all of my stuff. They did not honor their deal to include Internet and Water with the rent and were downright disrespectful. On top of this the traditional 30 day window for canceling the lease was 90 days and if it was not submitted you would be automatically renewed for another year incurring all cancellation fees. They also expected you to pay for and
