We are a Montessori preschool with over 10 years of experience in early childhood education. Our small ratio of children to teachers allows us to provide excellent preschool services, while offering a personal 1-on-1 relationship with each child in our care. Our specialized curriculum integrates the Montessori method and traditional preschool philosophies with an emphasis on reading, writing and basic math skills.

Drawing from our years of experience, we've learned that this integrated approach provides the most comprehensive and effective way for our children to learn and grow. We are very family-oriented and have created a warm, caring and loving environment for the entire family. We provide a well-prepared setting that fosters the child's highest potential; intellectually, physically and emotionally.
Services
Young Minds Montessori Preschool was established in 2008 by Ashanthi Perera as an in-home Montessori preschool. Drawing from her 15 years of experience working for different successful Montessori schools in California, she created a program that combines the Montessori foundation with certain traditional preschool philosophies.
Young Minds Montessori School was established in 2008 as an in-home Montessori preschool that grew over the years to what we are today. Our program combines a Montessori foundation with play-based activities and projects appropriate for each of our age groups. Over the years, the curriculum has been fine-tuned to fit most child's needs and ensure continuous, enthusiastic learning.
Eliisa became a part of the Young Minds community in the summer of 2018 when she and her husband Luis became the owners of Young Minds. Eliisa grew up in Finland, but has been residing in Texas since 2010. After completing a 10-year career in the mental health field and having her son, she. Ms. Pallavi is currently serving as the Assistant Director at Young Minds Montessori.
Montessori education offers our children opportunities to develop their potential as they step out into the world as engaged, competent, responsible, and respectful citizens with an understanding and appreciation that learning is for life. Each child is valued as a unique individual. Montessori education recognizes that children learn in different ways, and accommodates all learning styles.
The Montessori curriculum has various major arenas in which students will learn and experience lessons. Practical Life In the Montessori philosophy, independence is valued, and it's important for children to practice daily practical skills (caring for the classroom, caring for themselves and grace and courtesy) that are useful not only in the classroom but outside of the classroom as well.

Our daughter has been attending Young Minds Montessori since 2016 at the age of 18 months. In the last three years my husband and I have seen our daughter excel in vocabulary, speech, and social etiquette. Ms. Ashanti and her staff are truly a blessing when it comes to child care and education. When I drop our daughter off I feel that I am leaving her with family and I can go about my day freely without that nagging thought "is she okay". Young Minds truly recognizes quality over quantity.

We love Young Minds! Our daughter has grown so much here and enjoys it. I love hearing her talk about things that I myself didn't learn in school till I was much older. We were so happy when she put away her own bowl in the kitchen sink at home, and loves to show us how to fold towels and clothes (we didn't teach her that!). She loves to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sing the school song at home too. The children at Young Minds learn at their pace yet are challenged, and are expected to behave.
One of the things that made me decide on the school in the first place was how the Director Ms

My family absolutely loves this school. We have 3 young children who attend ranging in various ages. We’ve been part of their family for over two years, and every teacher and employee is always INCREDIBLY nice, attentive, mindful of little minds and feelings, and extremely reliable. They constantly are thinking of the children and the schools growing needs. They’ve made recent updates to the school and added more Montessori teachers and we couldn’t be happier. Our children adore their teachers, and so do we. They want to go to school everyday! The school keeps daily logs so we know what’s

Young Minds has been a blessing to my son, now 6 and daughter, 2. The teachers care, are engaged with the students and parents and welcome children and parents as family. They've prepared my son well for Kindergarten, giving him numbers/math and spelling/reading skills to put him well-ahead of the curve. I have no doubt my 2 year old will also be in a great position for Kindergarten when the time comes. The owner(s) have been gracious and accommodating and have gone out of their way for my children. Staff and teachers are professional and the facilities are very clean and well organized. I have

My daughter has been attending Young Minds since Jan. 2018. I am very picky regarding who watches my daughter. I have enjoyed every moment here. All the teachers are caring and the Director Ms Ashanti is awesome, they also have a new Director as well and I forget her name but she is super nice. They not only tend to the students but also the teachers needs as well. My daughter loves going here and she gets a well balanced schedule that includes group learning and individual learning as well. My daughter was with Miss J then turned 3 and moved into Ms Britas class. Small class sizes and great environment

When our daughter was turning 2, we felt it was time for her to start interacting more with kids her age. We looked around many places in the Cedar Park area and finally settled on Young Minds. We speak mostly Spanish at home so we were a bit worried our daughter would have trouble initially. To our pleasant surprise the room she was placed
in had Mrs. Olga. Mrs. Olga is awesome! From day one our daughter came home saying her name and was always excited about going to "school". We have had nothing but good vibes from this place and certainly our daughter has enjoyed and learned a lot in the last

My child has been at Young Minds since 2015 and will be graduating in May. This school has been absolutely wonderful for her. She has learned so much and is definitely more than ready for kindergarten in August. The school's directors, Ashanthi and Shiran, are wonderful people, great with children, and you can tell that they love their school. My daughter's teacher, Mrs. Indu, is very encouraging, respectful, and obviously loves her job. I had my second child in January and when he is 18 months he will attend Young Minds, too.

We enrolled our son about 7 months ago after touring several schools, and just knew this was the one for us! My husband and I have always talked about Montessori, but also wanted to allow our son to use free play to develop social skills. This school offers both the quiet, one on one Montessori centers as well as the important free play for a young child. The staff is amazing, and extremely friendly. The communication is great, which is important when you're having to drop your child off for up to 8 hours a day! The best part is you get all of this great learning, experiences and teachers for an

We absolutely love Young Minds! Our oldest began attending the school in 2013 and only stopped attending when he began kindergarten this year. We watched him grow so much in the time that he was there! He began attending knowing his colors, basic counting to 20 and knowing the alphabet song but not really able to identify all the letters if asked. When he left he was able to read most of the level 1 books that we have at home (with some assistance with bigger words), he was writing many words, knew the continents (!!!!) and had so much more confidence in himself.

What an amazing difference! Before Young Minds our son was enrolled in another program that didn't fare very well. He was behind in his speech and attention skills, which created much worry. After a month at Young Minds, my wife and I saw a huge difference in my son's little personality. He became more talkative and shared his happiness with his new school. Later in the year, we clearly saw how much he improved in his coloring, writing, and even reading skills.
Today my creative, talkative, and independent four year-old is attending his last year with Young Minds. We already feel he is ahead of
