Services
We offer an integrated, dynamic, and goal-oriented curriculum with a dual focus: content and language. Encouraging higher order thinking and fostering affective, cognitive, and psychomotor skills. Students in our preschool program receive sheltered instruction in a relevant and comprehensible context through authentic conversations.
Four beautiful classrooms were specially designed to accommodate our preschool program. Each classroom has a theme color and is divided in different sections to allow a smooth transition from one activity to another one. Restrooms are located inside the classrooms. Inside each classroom you will find a reading center, a dramatic center, construction center, circle area, and activity center.
Northwest Spanish School has been the perfect place for our daughter's first school experience! It is evident that the teachers and staff truly love their students and love teaching. I am constantly impressed by the variety of topics that the children study, and for them to be learning Spanish on top of it all is an amazing bonus.

Both my daughters have gone to Northwest Spanish school, and I only have wonderful things to say. From the high qualified teachers, to the beautiful positive atmosphere, to the cleanliness of everything, this school is just excellent. My daughters loved going to school everyday. Teresa, the owner, cares a lot about her school, and her students. We are so lucky to have found it!

My son is 3 this was his very first year in preschool. I was incredibly nervous at the start since he has always had separation anxiety issues. I had never left him anywhere except with family members or for an hour in the nursery at church. My son immediately took a liking to the school. The teachers and staff are so friendly and I believe the warm welcome the students receive every morning truly helps them feel safe and loved. My son really enjoyed the weekly themes and activities, and has been picking up on Spanish words and phrases, and actually desires to keep learning more. He has also matured

Our family loves the school. My daughter goes to weekly tutoring and my son is in the full time pre-school/pre-K. In his old school, he never participated in any of the activities and would just sit quietly and watch the other kids. This went on for a full year. As soon as we started at NWSS, he blossomed. The teachers are so welcoming, so nurturing, so loving and so patient. They have brought out the best in my son. He is excited to go to school every day, he takes pride in his work and has has made so many nice friends. I can't say enough good things about this school. It has been

Northwest Spanish Immersion is a hidden gem! My daughter had not started school until she was 2 and after a couple of weeks of adjustment here, she started to love it. The teachers are caring and they treat each child with utmost love. My daughter was singing in Spanish, knew her numbers and colors, and even talked in Spanish before we knew it. The smaller classrooms and school size ensured more 1:1 time for each student. Plus, my daughter rarely got sick from school which was something we were wary about. We have recently moved out of the area and she misses the school and her teachers tremendously

When our daughter turned 4 we realized that it was time to start looking for a preschool. We had been fortunate enough to have family that stayed with her while we worked so we never had to look at day care options. Needless to say, we were nervous about her starting school and toured a number of schools including NWSS. We loved what we saw at NWSS but initially opted for a less structured, more Waldorf style preschool thinking that our daughter would be more comfortable there. We were SO wrong! She hated her first school and it killed me to drop her off there and hear her screaming for me

This school is AWESOME. Our son has really blossomed here. The ratios are excellent and because of the school's smaller size we feel like we are leaving our kid with family everyday. The Director and all of the teachers truly care about the children and go out of their way to make sure both the children and parents needs are being met.
