The toddler class is designed to foster the very young child's desire to explore and experiment with the environment. Water activities, exploring the garden and music time are just a few of our daily activities.

Services
The Montessori Method of Education, is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children. It is based off of the research and observations of Dr. Maria Montessori. Maria Montessori recognized that children have a natural curiosity and love for knowledge.
She felt that the goal of early childhood education should not be to fill the child with facts from a pre-selected course of studies, but rather to cultivate the child's own natural desire to learn.In our classrooms learning takes place in a prepared environment and involves self directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play.

In the toddler classes we introduce the basic Montessori materials in group and individual presentations. The toddlers are given opportunities to practice important life skills such as, pouring, scooping, zipping, sweeping and so much more. Toddlers are curious and the Montessori classroom is designed to foster and stimulate their busy minds and bodies.
The primary classroom is designed for ages 3-5. In our prepared environment the children are free to explore the materials in the classroom and are offered lessons throughout the day that are tailored to each child's skill level and interests. It is an environment designed specifically for curious little minds and the teachers are simply there to guide and assist the child as needed.
3. Place 2 Tbsp of the mixture at a time on the skillet and cook 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Freshly made and limited processed meal choices, we have the ability to customize meals for special dietary needs. Catering to varied palates, different meals are planned each day on a monthly rotating schedule.

I recently had to leave Prep n Play cause I live in southeast Austin but I had a great experience working there! The owners, Rochelle and Jeff, truly care for the children and they do their best to meet not only their needs but the needs of the teachers. It's tough to find a place that has genuine care for the children but this Montessori school has wonderful teachers that go above and beyond to show the kids love and acceptance. Awesome school and a fantastic group of teachers!

My son attended Prep 'n' Play for three years and we couldn't be happier with his preparedness for kindergarten. He is reading well above his grade level. Rochelle and her team are extremely patient and knowledgeable and truly care for all of their students. They encourage lots of creativity, fun and good habits. To date, my child LOVES cherry tomatoes because they once planted them in the school garden and he was so proud of it. Experiences like that are why I would recommend this school to anyone.

Our daughter LOVES her school, Prep N Play. She's excited to go every single day, and most days doesn't even want to leave. She has learned so so much at Prep N Play. She's getting prepared for Kindergarten and loves all her friends at this school. She has a strong bond with the teachers, and enjoys every day here. I'm so thankful we found this little gem 2 years ago.

We enrolled our daughter at Prep N' Play Academy three years ago. As new parents, we had no experience with daycares. It was really difficult to choose. We wanted a place that would be close to home, safe and educational. Once we visited Prep N' Play our minds were made up! Rochelle's caring nature was exactly what we were looking for. Rochelle and Jeff both made us feel incredibly comfortable leaving our daughter in their hands.
We couldn't be more pleased with the balance of learning activities provided each day and play time with friends. Our daughter will be starting Kindergarten next year

Maddie adores her school! She is excited to go everyday. I am so grateful I found Prep N Play. She comes home happy everyday and chatters on about the new things she has learned. She has made lasting friendships with the kids in her class and we love watching her grow with them. Rochelle and Jeff have been great to work with and I know that they truly care for Maddie. Can't wait for her little sister to join her soon at school!

We just started a few weeks ago but have nothing but wonderful things to say. First and foremost, the teachers seem to love our child, and they express genuine care in his development, and patience. The center is very tidy, organized and seems to very well cleaned regularly. The children are clearly used to a routine and structure. I've never walked in and seen anything less than total order and every single child being super well behaved. Let me start by saying that I cannot say enough good things about Prep N Play Academy! My daughter has grown tremendously in this program over the past couple of years. We were part of a larger brand name daycare before we moved here and it not did deliver the way Prep N Play has.

I absolutely love these people and their child care/learning academy. They kept my daughter for 3 years. Everyday my daughter came home and told me wonderful stories she experienced and learned throughout her day. I felt truely blessed to have these people in our lives and I am extremely grateful to them. I highly recommend them for your toddler and preschool age needs.
