Services
Although it is not required, we strongly encourage our clients to be present for the inspection. We can describe our process, explain our findings, point out important maintenance items, and answer all of your questions. That way, you will have a full understanding of the state of your property. On the same day!
With our experienced and professional inspectors, our inspections take 2.5 to 3.5 hours to perform an in-depth evaluation of the home and property. During this time we will be providing a thorough, visual inspection of the homes major components. We inspect items such as the foundation, accessible roofs, gas appliances and all electrical panels.
In San Diego county and the Orange County area we primarily deal with two species of termites - Drywoods and Subteranean. Through our company Sea To Sky Termite, we are able to inspect, treat, repair and provide clearances for sellers in need of Section 1 & 2 clearances.
When we do find Drywood termites, we focus our efforts on treating locally and repairing or replacing the affected wood members with our team of in-house carpenters and treatment specialists.When a house does need to be fumigated, we are the right team to manage the process for you. We partner with the biggest and best local fumigators to provide superior service while the circus tent is on your home.

In Southern California several different types of material have been used for plumbing in homes - Clay, Cast Iron and Galvanized are the most common in homes built before the 1980's - currently we use plastic. Millions of homes have been built with these drainage systems and without maintenance, they will fail over time.
Rodents, like mice and rats, are a big problem in any city center. This includes our coastal California communities throughout San Diego & Orange County. To ensure your home doesn't get overrun or damaged by these critters, we do a thorough investigation to determine how they have entered your home and then create a game plan with you to seal them out, remove their damage, and ensure that you are rodent-free going forward.

We are in process of buying a home and were recommended Sea to Sky by our lender. Edward was extremely thorough in his inspection, and helped explain every point that was not easily understood in the report. He also gave us multiple approaches we could take for potential repairs in the long term. I spoke to Jeanine over the phone to schedule the inspection, and Edward was able to come out the very next day. We received our inspection report that evening, and received the mold report two days later. We feel very assured in making this purchase, since we had such a thorough inspection done! Bravo

The whole inspection took about 3 hours, Steve was very thorough and knowledgeable. It was raining, so rain, snow; or sunshine it doesn't matter they will show up and do the job. The report was ready immediately after the inspection. Highly professional and I would recommend them to everyone.

Sea to Sky was easy to use from start to finish. They were available within the same week to do the home inspection and termite inspection. To find a company that can give you a report the same day and termite clearance within a day is great! Steve, the inspector, was helpful, knowledgeable & professional. Janine made it really easy to schedule an inspection for a property that we are purchasing. The company was very responsive and professional. Steven was very thorough and friendly, he took his time explain to us all the ins and outs of the house as well as giving us some rough pricing estimates on how much each repair would typically cost.
