Horrible management and cheaply built units means endless problems and a nightmare living experience. This is the worst apartment building I have ever lived in and I will not be returning. I'm a few weeks into a long term lease and have incredibly loud neighbors blasting music until 3 AM on weeknights while the management company has done nothing to respond. The apartment had some inoperable appliances or power switches when I moved in and they still have yet to be fixed. Maintenance calls and asks to come and perform repairs and then never even show. The entire unit is clearly built so cheaply

During our leasing process at The Perry, our leasing consultant, Ghaffar Sanni, was excellent to work with. He promptly responded to our inquiries by phone or email and was very easy to understand and communicate with. He also did a thorough job of explaining the apartment amenities as well as the lease terms. If you are going to lease an apartment at The Perry, be sure to work with Ghaffar and you will be in good hands.

The team of Richard Williams and Daymon Williams are the best in their business as property managers at The Perry. Richard and Daymon made the application, approval, leasing and move-in process as easy as possible on a tight timeframe. Additionally, the Perry is a very well run facility, with multiple amenities, a great location, safe secure and well maintained. We couldn't be happier with our choice. We lived in the Perry apartments (South building) for a year.
The location of the complex Is great, close to Harris Teeter, many restaurants, and Potomac woods park which has a great walking trail.
Although it is located close to the highway, and our apartment was in the first floor, the noise level is minimum. Our apartment had large windows with a great view.
Thank you Perry, we really enjoyed our stay there.

I have lived in the Perry for going on four years and I just love my apartment.
It is a one bedroom located on the fourth floor and has a den off the kitchen.
I love the " runway " granite long countertop cabinets that make for a perfect place to create dinners for entertaining as it is for rolling out dough and decorating cakes.
The picturesque view off my balcony serves as a most welcome view of the serene pool with the surrounding town homes to look onto.
The office staff is right on point in helping with any apartment necessities.

I loved living here! This partially had to do with my great view and the size of my apartment, but still the community and service was great. It was a place I was proud to live at, because they too good care of the buildings; keeping the halls, fitness center and elevators clean. They also kept the building generally well maintained. Since moving to Maryland I've moved around a lot. And in choosing a place to live I feel as though I've toured every apartment complex is Rockville and Potomac. I had the pleasure of living at The Perry when it first opened in December 2014 until October 2017. I loved my time at The Perry and miss both Sharon, Mr. Afshin the pool manager, the maintenance team, and the leasing staff. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because when it was time for me to move out, Susan held a day of rent from my security deposit, even though I turned in the keys on October 31st, as well as overcharged me 1 month of the water bill. As a model tenant for the entire 2 years (never a noise complaint, never late with rent), I felt this was a bit unfair, especially given

I wrote a review 2 years ago when we moved in, so I figured it was time for an update. We just renewed our lease for 2 more years as we can't imagine living anywhere else. The leasing office and concierge staff continue to be caring and friendly. Maintenance is responsive and amazing. Settled into our large 2 bedroom apartment easily. Yes, the dishwasher could be better, but maintenance told me to change detergent and now it works fine. It is a bit noisy from the street as we face Park Potomac Avenue, but it's not so bad. I have been at the Perry since November 2018. I have a 1 bedroom, 1 den that I absolutely love. If I could, I'd stick around. But, unfortunately, my job is moving locations and I'll have to move closer. Either way, I highly recommend!
Pros:
- I feel very safe, safer than I've felt in my previous apartments
- I have felt like my apartment is pretty quiet, but that all depends on your neighbor(s). Also, the neighborhood is pretty quiet.
- I can walk to a nearby grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants, salon, etc. More retail seems to be opening up.
- Maintenance team is fantastic
