The Promenade

Board of Directors cannot decide whether to cater to seniors who no longer drive or renters with extended families in the building. One large community of renters has 6-8 boys who skateboard and ride bicycles in the parking garages making driving hazardous. Even so, the Board now wants to add a playroom to accommodate the children of renters.
On the other hand, there are multiple lounges, card rooms, etc. used by home-bound seniors during the day for "meetings and clubs" which are basically an escape from loneliness.
A good building for non-driving renters or non-driving seniors.

The Board of Directors is on a spending spree to attract younger buyers while ignoring the welfare of current residents. Frequently coop fees grow to be higher than mortgage payments.
The elevators and washing machines often are not working, with management spending lots of money on redecorating less useful areas. In the Administrative Office, Josselyn (who regularly passes herself off as the manager) and Marlene are not interested in providing service. They either refuse to take care of a problem or even tell residents they will mark their account so NO service is ever done. Replacing a standard

Several of our NIH friends lived here---formerly known as Pooks Hill apartments. Nice quarters, with nice tennis courts and all, Close to NIH, Walter Reed, Medical Center metro, Montgomery Mall and downtown Bethesda

I no longer use the laundry rooms in the Promenade. In the last months clothing has been stolen from my laundry. When I reported it to the Admin. office, Marlene told me there's nothing they can/will do. The attitude of Marlene and Michelle is we're not here for you.

I've lived here since 2005 and it's a great place to live. Lots of amenities like two swimming pools, gym, valet, grocery store, restaurant, beauty salon, etc. If there's snow outside, one can get whatever one needs without going out into the cold. In the summer, I'm at the pool whenever the weather is hot. It's been like living in a country club.

My husband and I recently bought and moved into our condo for it's location and the great amenities the apt complex offers. However, to our surprise, we’d never anticipated to find so many unfriendly, and extremely rude people living here. I rate this place a 1 because it is very crucial to live in a place that makes one feel at home than the other way around.

Great Co-op between a North Bethesda and main Bethesda. Lots of perks, two parking spots, full gym, small restaurant, and a deli in the building. It's a dream!
Only problem is some of the residents here can be a pain. There are some who are really big sticklers for the rules and they will complain about you. Not the buildings fault on that one though.

Been living here for a while and Yesterday while maitinence was in our apartment and we were at tge gym, $660 in cash just "went missing" from a cash box we had in the living room. The staff was super dismissive of me and my bf... I presume because we are heavily tattooed? They wouldent even give us the name of the person who was working on our apartment.
We will make sure to be home when they have to come back to work on the apartment. We're also looking into getting a security system.

Very nice upscale condo complex. In addition to the regular things like pool and tennis courts they have a small shopping center on a lower level. Groceries, hair salon, restaurant and I believe a taylor. The restaurant delivers to all the units in both buildings. The only bad thing is they don't allow pets.

Simply beautiful. Parking, great maintenance dept. clean and Sparkly. Condos are lovely, views are magnificent. I visited a friend, but if I needed a place to live in Bethesda, Promenade Towers would definitely be on my short list .
