Dr. Ali is a board certified ophthalmologist, and obtained his medical degree in 1988 from the Univeristy of California at San Diego. He completed his ophthalmology training at Louisiana State University, in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1992.
Daniel H. Chang, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist and has been associated with Cenral Valley Eye Care as our Cataract surgeon since 2011. Dr. Chang graduated with honors form the California Institute of Technology. He then recieved his medical and opthamology training from Duke University, where preformed groundbreaking laser vision correction research; at Emory University, where he earned the title of Chief Resident in Ophthalmogy.
Cataract surgery is performed in an outpatient surgical setting under local-monitored anesthesia and topical numbing eye drops. Cataract surgery most commonly performed by Phacoemulsification - a small incision is made in the cornea, and a phaco tip is inserted and the lens material (cataract) is removed.
Blepharoplasty is a relatively simple, inoffice procedure performed under local anesthetic. In some cases, it may be necessary for blepharoplasty to be performed in an ambulatory surgical center setting. Dr. Mohammadi will evaluate each individual case, and decide which setting is safest for the patient.

Have been taking my Dad here for years. Always a great experience! Short wait time. Clean lobby. Staff is very dedicated and helpful. My Dad has special needs (hearing defects) and the staff take the time to communicate with him so he understands procedures and answer his questions. Doctor takes the time to sit with him and provide answers. I am thankful for Central Valley Eye! Thank you.

My dad sees Dr. Twansy. The staff is always very nice, and the wait time is short. We're always out of the office in less than an hour, and so far it's been a good experience. :)
