These are pictures from the public restrooms here at Jefferson, believe it or not, and NOT a college freshman dormitory. Paterns of destruction and poor management make me feel very unsafe living here. This is the same public restroom management urged me to use when they shut off my water for 30 hours for no reason.
The manager, Susan, had the nerve to call me to tell me that they were raising my rent by 19% AND

To tell me "I dont know if you'll be able to afford it." All while urging me to not post any negative reviews vocalizing this absurdity to potential lessees.

My wife and I have lived her almost five years and it continues to be great! We love how close we are to the train, shopping, and also that we can park our car right downstairs. The staff has continued to be helpful & prompt in resolving any issues ... and of course they are always friendly. The more frequent community activities as of late just add to the positive experience.

Add "unsafe" to the growing list of concerns about this property.
On Friday October 1, 2021 somebody keyed our car in a 45 minute span during which we were inside preparing for a night out.
This abhorrent and reckless disregard for property is exacerbated by lack of security at the property. Despite being parked directly infront of an entrance to the building, the property has no cameras, even at its exorbitant (and rising) cost.
We filed a report with the Dedham Police Department, but nothing could be done due to lack of security.

The water heater broke in our unit, a routine occurrence, but the situation was mismanaged at every turn, and staff added insult to injury.
We jolted out of bed at 5 am to the sound of an alarm coming from the locked utility closet suspected to be the water heater. We vacated the premises, because without further knowledge there could have been a gas leak or even the potential for the water heater to explode. We promptly called the emergency maintenance line. The on call staff member stated something to the effect of the alarm indicates the water heater is leaking …. I’ll be there in a few

Do not give these people your money unless you are certain you do not want it back. It's been 4 months now I am still waiting for my refund. They can take your money in an instant but cannot return it for months. It was promised returned at most after 60 days, we are well past that now. Consider yourself warned.

It is a wonderful place to live! The buildings and apartments are nicely maintained, the administration and maintenance team are very helpful and they address any issues right away. The location is super convenient - it is next to Costco, Whole Foods, shopping, restaurants and a commuter rail. I have been living here for three years, and I honestly don't have much to complain about. The only cons that I can think of is that the lease renewal price may heavily fluctuate and it may surprise you with a big increase (the price depends on the season, demand, etc, so the price is kind of unpredictable
