Teaching since 1999, practicing yoga since 2002, and studying aerial dance since 2012, Anne found her passion when she combined her three loves and brought yoga into an aerial hammock. Created to be an aerial yoga studio and school, we are focused on providing safe instruction and sound rigging to ensure all students feel safe and confident in the yoga hammock.
Living up to her childhood nickname of Monkey, she has always loved the freedom found in hanging upside down and swinging. After starting aerial dance training in 2012, she found her passion by combining her love of yoga with the freedom of movement found through the aerial arts. You can find her teaching aerial yoga around San Antonio and at her studio, Aerial Yoga Boerne.

I don’t know where to start about how amazing Aerial Yoga San Antonio? I’ll start at the beginning. I walked into my first aerial class a year and a half ago. I was reaching middle age 200lbs and probably with a tad bit of depression. I had never enjoyed yoga in the past and to say that I was a neophyte would be an understatement.
From my very first class Anne was the most amazing and supportive instructor. She was clear and concise with her instruction, and she always ensured we participated in the class with concern for our safety and comfort.
To say I am challenged in the coordination

This is a great place to learn a new way of relaxing and stretching while expanding your yoga practice with aerial. Anne is great at teaching new techniques and explaining options for all levels of participants. Very safety oriented but keeps it fun and interesting!
Also adds in some daily philosophy each class.
You will leave feeling refreshed.
I highly recommend!

After practicing yoga for 10 years, I was lucky enough to find Anne and Aerial Yoga San Antonio. Her classes began to challenge me in new ways, both physically and mentally, and continue to do so with each class I attend. She puts so much thought into the tone she sets for each practice, connecting the poses to a theme in the form of an inspirational quote or other prose. She creates a space where her students can be open with all of their feelings, challenges, and triumps. By encouraging me to make each practice my own as needed, I feel a confidence in her classes to truely be myself and take

I started aerial yoga with Anne last month, and cannot say enough about how much fun it is to stretch outside my comfort zone with this class! It is absolutely exhilarating to trust the instructions and do things I wouldn't believe I could do on my own! I can also feel my core and arm strength increasing each week :-D

I absolutely love Anne and Aerial Yoga San Antonio! I have taken several aerial series with her, both beginner and the more advanced classes. My first series was when I was an absolute beginner to yoga. I had attended maybe 3 other traditional yoga classes, many years ago, which I stopped because I felt like I couldn’t keep up. I never felt like that with Anne. She was more than willing to explain things at a beginner level, even though when I first started several others in the class had attended prior series. I highly recommend these classes!

I signed up for the aerial yoga class after personally talking with the instructor. I'm a first time yoga student and we discussed how this class was ideal for a beginner due to the level of instruction and the extra support from the silks. So, I signed up. The class was awful.
First, the class flow consisted of her calling out the names of the poses without really describing what goes where, or where you're supposed to be feeling things. This was fine for the other students, because they weren't beginners. I languished, making darting glances at what everyone else was doing and trying to figure

The aerial yoga classes here are AMAZING! It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, you will benefit from this class. This type of yoga is so unique and fun for everyone to enjoy. As with many areas of fitness, this type of yoga is a skill that is developed over time; with that you will find pure joy accomplishing things you never thought you could do! This to me built my confidence overall and provided the drive to want to learn more!

We scheduled a private group lesson for aerial yoga for a bachelorette party and it was absolutely amazing. She made sure we were comfortable and were able to do the moves. She also took pictures of us throughout the class on our phones when we were in the poses. It was the perfect activity to do on our trip and we had such a fun experience. I would 100% do this again and will recommend the experience to everyone.

I stumbled upon this class (I don't remember how...an online ad, I think?) and from the very first I was hooked. It was fabulous for a beginner. Anne went out of her way to describe the equipment and safety features so we'd know what it was we were dangling upside down from. (Hugely important when you stop to think about that!) The pace was also slow enough to ask questions if I had any, but generally speaking she was also excellent at making sure we knew how a pose should feel and what muscles should be engaged. If anyone was off she was there to correct the pose or offer a modification. As someone
