It starts with the preparation of your food in our Alameda kitchen. Our cooks strive to produce top notch food to impress all of your guest.
Our event staff works hard at each event, so you can enjoy your event as much as your guest do. Herbs & Spices staff will also make sure your event space, whether it is your home, garden or a venue as clean as or sometimes cleaner than when they arrived.

Services
All orders are based on availability. Please let us know delivery time and the time you want everything set up by. Delivery fee is based on locations. Meals will arrive on disposable dishware. Compostable plates, flatware and napkins are included as well as plastic serving utensils. Real platters and dishware are upon request with additional fees.
Spice up your typical corporate lunch with our unique sandwiches and wraps. House-made pesto, chimichurri and aioli's will delight everyone's taste buds. Our seasonal salads a with house-made dressings will be a great accompaniment to balance off your meal. Sandwiches are cut in half and served on disposable platters, Salads are served in disposable serving bowls.

Herbs & Spices Catering has a great selection of finger foods that can be butler passed or presented on a buffet. Our creative staff uses herbs and flowers to dress up every platter. Prices may change based on your event's size, date, and budget.

She catered to my request during a very busy holiday time when most caterers were either fully booked or needed a months notice. Her team delivered and setup all the food for me. The food was very well presented and tasty as well. She was very responsive every time I reached out to her. She even checked in on me after the event during which I raised a concern about a certain item and she instantly addressed that for me. I couldn’t be happier with her services and

Doing business with Roxanne is a complete disaster. It's incredible to watch someone you expect to act like a professional adult run and hide into a back room when there are obvious issues that need to be discussed. I've never worked with someone so immature and childish in my life.
You know, she knows, that it's unacceptable behavior, when you're communicated with like you're talking to a manipulative teenager. She's very forgetful at the most precise moments, so interesting.

Wendy's creativity and strong dedication have created a business that is a pleasure to enjoy and reliable to work with. We have relished the dishes that she has prepared for her Dinner Delivery Doorstep during these days of Covid stay-at-home. We have been privileged to have Herbs and Spices cater several events in the past also (a wedding, holiday parties, etc.) and believe that they well deserve every star that we have awarded to them.

Herbs & Spices catered a memorial luncheon in my backyard for 22 people. From the first inquiry, through the form on their website, service was excellent. Wendy reviewed my requests, sent a quote and a menu within a couple days. She was accommodating with my changes and offered their entire menu for choices. The food was fresh and flavorful for the hors d'oeuvre, entree, sides, and dessert. Staff, Claudia and Djugba were prompt arriving on the day. They used my kitchen to complete prep and left it spotless at the end. Service included offering hors d'oeuvres to guests, setting up the buffet selections

We hired Herbs and Spices to provide appetizers for a 60th birthday celebration for about 50 people held at The Hunter, a cocktail bar that has no kitchen. Wendy was a pleasure to work with, and gave us a wide variety of possibilities, ranging from unattended platters to heated chafing dishes staffed by servers. Having no experience myself doing something like this, she was terrific in helping to determine quantities, and had no issues when I wanted to scale back a bit from her suggestions.

I used to work in catering and conventions services, so knew that having a party catered would allow me to be focused on the guests at our event. I also knew that having a catering team out to a property (a very small residence, to boot) they've never seen is likely to be one problem after another, and braced for it. But Wendy and her team did the impossible - they handled the party without even one itty bitty problem coming up. It was amazing, seamless, easy, and fun.

I went to a wonderful and beautiful outdoor wedding yesterday and HERBS AND SPICE CATERING catered the lunch! I have NEVER seen nor tasted such LUSCIOUS food! Not only was the food scrumptious, but the presentation was just beautiful! I immediately got their brochure and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS CATERING SERVICE TO EVERYONE! I will totally use these folks when the occasions arises! If I could give 10 stars, I would! 😊
