Cornerstone Cooperative Preschool
Through play and exploration, children learn to navigate their complex world. Cornerstone's carefully prepared classroom environments reflect the school's philosophy of preschool education. Ample time is given for children to observe, explore, speculate about, discover, and discuss their world in large and small groups.

Within a safe and nurturing environment, our children acquire and practice new skills, build a repertoire of responses to social situations, and develop problem-solving strategies; all while learning from their own mistakes and gaining the self-confidence to try again. The curriculum at Cornerstone Cooperative Preschool emerges from the interests and needs of the children.
Services
A cooperative preschool allows parents to be directly involved in their child's school, because Co-Op parents contribute their own time and energy to make it work. Here at Cornerstone, family is cherished and celebrated; childhood is protected. Our children are guided not only by their dedicated teachers but by the committed adults who share in their classroom experience.
Have you ever heard of a cooperative preschool? Until recently I was vaguely familiar with the term, but had no idea what an amazing experience being a co-op family could be. If you want your preschooler to be ready for the academic rigors ahead, forget about the curriculum. Instead, look for a classroom that lets children learn the way they do best.
Cornerstone Cooperative Preschool depends on the support of our community to continue our mission to provide a high quality, developmentally appropriate program that recognizes the importance of creative play in the lives of children. There are many ways your family can contribute.

I can’t say enough great things about this school. My kids have both attended this school and we, as a family, have made life long friends. This school has truly enriched our lives for the better.

My family has been a part of this wonderful community going on five years and I couldn't say enough about how much we all love it! Both of my daughters have gone there and have absolutely loved it! All of the staff are friendly, very approachable, patient, understanding, and very hard-working! Definitely a place to check out for your littles!

As a former teacher and active parent, I wanted to be involved in my children's learning. At Cornerstone, I am able to be actively involved as well as have a community of parents and teachers that care as much about my girls as I do.
