Serving the Denton community by providing quality care for infants through Kindergarten and their families since 1996. Springbok provides breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack, exceeding the USDA standards for food programs. Our chef avoids foods that are processed, frozen, or have unhealthy additives.

Our meals offer tastes, textures, and colors that entice children to eat a wider variety of foods. The chef practices "stealth vegetable, " (the practice of sneaking unseen vegetables into other foods). Teaching children during the pre-school years is an exciting and challenging experience. We offer in-house teacher enrichment as well as providing each teacher the opportunity to get his/her State mandated yearly training hours and more.
Services
Springbok Academy has served the Denton community since 1996, by providing quality care for infants through Kindergartners. Springbok partners with parents in their children's growth and learning. Springbok Academy builds on children's natural curiosity and dynamism to achieve each child's full potential while building self-esteem through success.
Q: What does the Activity Fee cover and how often do I pay it? A: The activity fee is paid in January of each year and it covers the cost of most of the disposable art supplies. Q: What type of training is required for your staff members? A: We require 24 hours of training annually and we also do in-house training covering specific areas.
We have 20 highly qualified teachers who are passionate about building meaningful relationships with the children at Springbok Academy. Our teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid and are required to complete 24 hours of professional development training each year. Elizabeth Seibt (Director/Owner) joined the Springbok family during its first year, in 1997, and became the owner in 2009.
We are always looking for energetic, motivated and dedicated teachers to join our Springbok family. If you are passionate about early childhood education and would like to submit an application, you can download the forms here and then email them to info@springbokacademy.com. We are always looking for qualified substitutes to fill in for our teachers when they are sick and on vacation.
My son and his Springbok friends now attend four different schools, public and private. We, and the parents of our son's friends have been very pleased at how advanced our Springbok graduates were when they started at their new schools this past fall. Last August we were forced to change daycares due to unpredictable circumstances.

After snowmageddon destroyed springbok facility our church was able to accommodate springbok until their school was repaired, so I was able to see how they operated from within and I was overwhelmed with the passion of teaching they had for all the children, from 3 month to 6 year olds .from nutrition to bilingual every child was cared for. And if I had small children they would definitely be a springbok student

This place is my children’s second home while my husband and I are at work. They are so wonderful! My son has been attending since he was 7 months old and he is about to 4 years old. He has grown so much socially and academically, he is so smart. I love that they do activities to keep the children engaged. And change the learning themes weekly. I love that they communicate so well with my husband and I with our children’s needs. They serve them well balanced and creative meals. My infant daughter now attends. She is almost 7 months old and started at 10 weeks. Ms.Kayla has done so great with

My 2 1/2 year old son has been attending Springbok since he was 6 weeks old. Our family is very happy with them. We appreciate their communication, particularly during COVID as they have kept us very informed. In fact, many times when licensing standards have allowed more leeway, they have elected to follow a stricter COVID protocol. We also love the curriculum - our son comes home with new words all the time, and they even do potty training. Our son is always happy to go to school and see his teachers, and they are always happy to see him.

My daughter went to Springbok from 7 months to 5 years old. The peace of mind of knowing your child is in safe hands is PRICELESS. Springbok is hands down the best infant-kinder school in Denton and surrounding. I also cannot speak highly enough of how well they have handled all the adjustments needed to keep kids, parents and staff safe during this pandemic. No school does a better job of preparing kids for Kindergarten either! We will forever be grateful to the Springbok crew.

I was so nervous about putting my infant in day care, especially during a pandemic, but the team at Springbok has been nothing but wonderful. I can tell that my son is really cared for and safe. Ms. Kayla, the infant teacher, has been amazing about giving updates and I know that my child is in good hands!

We LOVE Springbok Academy. They have made our transition to daycare with our first kiddo so smooth. They are knowledgeable, kind and great at communicating. We feel like our child is being cared for, and well educated at a very early age.

The way I like to describe Springbok is a gem family that's hidden in the heart of Denton... I can't praise Springbok enough for what they've done for our son Izzy. We had gone through 2 other preschools until we found Springbok (third time is a charm). This isn't your normal daycare place... The teachers care, the director cares, and they will go above and beyond for each child. Our son had developmental issues due to not being able to hear for the first year of his life. They have been so patient with him and have worked with him to get him on track with the other children his age. They send

I have been taking our 4 year old grandson to Springbok since he was about 8 months old. It has been a great experience for him, and for us. The teachers have all been wonderful and loving, and he is thriving. He loves the play time with his friends, of course, but is also learning along the way, and I believe he will be well-prepared for kindergarten next year.

Springbok Academy has been a great experience for our daughter and our family. The balance between free play time and education is well done - our 4-year-old thrives and thinks it's all fun, and comes home with new skills and knowledge daily. Her teachers have always been kind and nurturing, understanding the needs and mistakes of small children while keeping high expectations for behavior and social skills. We love Springbok, and recommend it to all our friends!

We have sent both our Boys to springbok, and have known then for 8 years now, and would not trust anyone with my kids more than Ms. Liz. They learn a lot and by 8 year old stays well ahead of his class now in 2nd grade. The kids loved going to springbok, and never had any complains. Ms. Lauren, is also an excellent teacher and professional. Overall the staff are very compassionate as well, I generally see them patting them to sleep, having them sit in their lap, and rolling and playing on the floor.
P.S. We did try other places before joining as they had a waiting list, and most places are basically
