These gold and silver treasures are a constant reminder of our children, spouses, parents, grandparents, and friends.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a Government headstone or marker for the unmarked grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world, regardless of their date of death. When the grave is already marked, applicants will have the option to apply for either a traditional headstone or marker, or a new device (available spring 2009).

Blizzard Funeral Home was beyond amazing. They were sensitive, compassionate and always two steps ahead of whatever we needed. They anticipated our every need. They thought outside of the box to elevate transportation costs. We could have been a number to them but instead we felt like a family member was handling all the details. Also they sent a lovely card to remember my son’s birthday. They truly understand the meaning agape love. I highly recommend Blizzard Funeral Home in Wagner SC.

We have known the Blizzards for over 50 years. They have taken care of all of our funeral needs throughout those years. We have always felt so grateful for all of their caring, gentle ways during our saddest times. The entire staff is more like family and that is how they treat us as well. Wilson and family went above and beyond with my wants and concerns for memorial arrangements regarding Byron. Himself and his family have always been very genuine and attentive with the whole process. Byron and I were always satisfied with how Wilson handled funeral arrangements which is why we entrusted him with our own. Thank you again Blizzard Funeral home, Byron would have been pleased.

I’m one of many nieces of my Uncle Jimmy!! I guess you might say most of us think we are the favorite, but I claim that very special place myself!
My mother is Ruby Hayes Boggs, Jimmy’s sister! It was very hard hearing this news today, when I saw my cousin Jennifer’s number come up I thought oh “there’s Uncle Jimmy” it was my cousin Joi, with such news I can can hardly write this from my heart breaking so!! But Uncle Jimmy you just beat me home!!!
To my Aunt Janet and my first cousins I love all of you so very much!!
