Mother Goose Inn Childcare is a family-owned and family-focused daycare provider that is conveniently located close to both Hwy 100 and I-494 in Edina, MN. We have been in business since 1998. Many of our staff have been here since we opened and have or have had their children attend. We concentrate on keeping the center family-oriented.
We welcome and encourage parent involvement throughout the Mother Goose Inn program. Classrooms and playgrounds are always open for observation and participation. You are always welcome to come to your child's daycare to observe anytime.

Services
Mother Goose Inn provides a variety of activities for each room that are both quiet and active, teacher and child initiated. The activities are designed to promote the physical, intellectual, social and emotional development of each child. We provide structured learning periods, active play periods and time is provided to encourage children to engage in creative freeplay.
Mother Goose Inn is open year round, Monday through Friday. Our hours of operation are from 6:30am to 6:00pm. The center follows the Bloomington Public School closures. Mother Goose Inn provides a hot lunch and two nutritious snacks daily. Menus are posted and also available to take home. We also provide infant cereals and jars of 2nd/3rd baby food.
Mother Goose Inn is licensed by the State of Minnesota and follows all state licensing guidelines. Our teachers, assistants and aids are all certified in CPR and First Aid. Each staff member receives ongoing training throughout the year and a complete background check. We accept cash, check or money orders.

Our son has been with MGI his entire life. The staff are like family, you will not find another daycare that cares about your kids more than MGI. This is not a factory daycare, the kids get to be kids. Life has enough struggles, I appreciate that our son was in a place that nurtured him and recognized that he wasn't a just a source of revenue and treated him like a human being. It is not perfect, but I'll take loved over perfect.

We started out really liking mother goose inn. Unfortunately after being there for over 1.5 years we ended up having a really negative experience.
Our daughter began at MGI at 3.5 months in the infant room. My concern with the infant room is that in the entire year + that my daughter was there it was clear that they had not cleaned the fridge where the breast milk and formula is stored daily. I know this because I noticed significant (cleanable) stains in her designated tray the first day I dropped her off that stayed there until the day she moved into the toddler room over a year later. Additionally

My toddler and 5 year old LOVE it there. In the morning the boys love going to Mother Goose Inn, and when I pick them up their arms are loaded down with projects and artwork. I found an extremely experienced staff at MGI, and even better, they really care about the well being and development of the children.
