George Henry's
Our family has been proudly serving some of the best food and coldest beer in the Adirondacks since 1984. We pride ourselves in offering great food at reasonable prices in a comfortable, family-friendly environment. From juicy burgers and paninis to fresh salads and homemade soups to choice-cut steaks and fresh seafood, there's truly something for everyone!

Thank you so much for supporting small, family-owned businesses in Warrensburg and we hope to see you soon! We have a place in Lake George and ski at Gore Mtn quite a bit. We LOVE George Henry's. It is a very charming and comfortable place-- the bar side, the outside overlooking the river and the dining room.
Services
You might be wondering, "Who was George Henry?" Good question! A graduate of Culver Military Academy and Cornell University, he was an avid sportsman who was especially interested in hunting and hockey. He even made the 1932 U.S. Olympic hockey team, but a skiing accident damaged his leg and his dreams of competing in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid.
Let George Henry's plan your next celebration or event! Reserve a few tables or book the entire establishment and let us take away your party-planning worries! We will present you with as many options as possible to provide a party that will wow your guests without breaking the bank. We had our rehearsal dinner at George Henry's and it was absolutely the most amazing meal ever.

Delicious food. Best server ever. She was alone serving a crowd but she never missed a beat. She maintained a friendly demeanor, was polite, pleasant, and most helpful. I have to thank her and the chef for being so patient, helpful, and willing to work with me to meet my dietary requirements. This restaurant was recommended by the proprietor of Junk and Java. Another very fine establishment that I encourage everyone to support.

French Onion soup was to die for… Best I have had. I got the sandwich/soup combo. The turkey sandwich was subpar, nothing special to it. The inside off the resturant feels like you are in a log cabin. Cozy. Our waitress was friendly. My fiancé had the rueben and rated it a 10/10. There was bacon on it, which is odd.. but it actually worked and added even more flavor. We would come back if in the area again. 9/10 overall, and that’s really just because of the sandwich.

A group of friends and I visited here Saturday night and had a great time! Our server, Jackie O, was very friendly and professional, and knew the menu like the back of her hand. The food was amazing. We’ll be sure to come back next time we’re in town.

Usually have great meals here, but Saturday night was not up to par. Arrived at 7:25 and finally got our food at 9:00 after chasing down our waitress. Nachos arrived with burned brisket and no cheese at all. Turkey sandwiches were pretty good but missing the cranberry mayonnaise. Raw French fries and very weak drinks topped off our evening. Our party of 5 was very disappointed and after expressing our disappointment to the waitress, she claimed it was very busy due to the Columbus Day holiday. Unfortunately not believable since there were 11 people in the restaurant and we were 5 of those people

What a great dining experience. Lovely waitress! French onion soup was so good the broth was so rich. Shenanigans burger and the fried pickle was so good on it. The sesame wings were huge and perfectly cooked. Would definitely eat here again!

This is our favorite sit-down indoor restaurant in warrensburg. On our first visit, the dining area was deserted, and I thought "this does not bode well.". But by the time we left, it was packed. So get there as close to 5pm as possible if you wan dinner.
We typically stop after visiting the Hudson Headwaters health facility nearby.
On that first visit, I noticed several burgers for about $10-11 and ordered one medium rare. My wife ordered as well, and our server disappeared into the kitchen. No more than 3 minutes later she was back with our food. I thought (again). "This can't be good."

Did a large job in the area. Took us a week to go here. Drove all over looking for good food/beer/service. This place was 5 mins from our hotel. Duh.... Can definitely tell it's not part of a chain. Food was amazing every night. (And we ate here mon-thurs for over a month) great local and craft beers. Live music. What more could you ask for? Can't wait to eat here again. Very very highly recommend

Went there tonight and wasn't disappointed!!! My burger was hot and juicy and cooked to perfection! Fries were crisp and blended in well with ketchup. Did have to wait a bit for the food but worth the wait. Will go back again.

Shrimp Mac & Cheese - had to pull the tails off the shrimp ...kind of crazy to play around in your food to pull the shrimp out to do this.
Panini's are greasy. Killed all the other flavor.
The homemade chips- pass on those.
Clam Mac & cheese- only 1/3 of the shells had anything in them.
Flies enjoyed our food more than we did.

All right here we go!
I drive by here very frequently and had never stopped. This weekend changed that.
The atmosphere and staff we welcoming and very friendly even as we arrived late and they were busy.
Our party of three had burgers and they were outstanding!
Each was cooked as ordered, mine rare, and another well done.
The sides of onion rings and fries were well done and in moderate portions...
Definite I will stop more frequently now and this may just be my big, rare, juicy burger stop from now on !

As a Philadelphian, I was tempted to try the "Smoked Philly," but as its description read more like a French au jus sandwich, I went with the Local Burger, which turned out to be a good choice because the half-pound burger with Oscar's bacon, Oscar's smoked cheddar cheese, and Oscar's More-than-Mustard with homemade pickles and the onion rings I subbed for fries/homemade chips/cole slaw were both delicious and together made up for our appetizer: incredibly lackluster George's Favorite Fries (hand cut, soaked in buttermilk then battered and fried to a crisp served with

Went here for dinner with family and friends. We aren't from this area but you would have never thought that by how the entire staff treated us like we were family. Hands down some of the best service we've experienced. Our waitress was the best! Very friendly and accommodating to our every need. The food is is by the best we've had in and around the Lake George area!! There were 5 of us total and everything that was placed on our table was amazing! A sign on the wall says they support local farmers, breweries, and such. You can tell by how fresh everything tasted. From salads to

Whelp, they changed the menu. It's AWESOME.
I thought quite possibly my love affair with GH's just might have hit the skids, but nope.. they've renewed my faith in damn fine food in a no-frills wrapper. To be 100% honest, the +1 had some serious health issues, so we haven't been in for about a year.

Any fan of Diners, Drive-in's and Dives will LOVE GH's. We started with the pork wings: Lean, tender, bone-in pork shanks tossed in a sweet and spicy Thai chili glaze served over citrus coleslaw. We wiped the plate CLEAN. Tangy, spicy, flavorful. WOW, just wow.

Every summer, the family makes the pilgrimage to Lake George, NY. This has been an annual family tradition since the inception of Gaslight Village and when LGPD worked the intersections on Canada Street.

A few summers ago we stumbled upon this gem where the food is not only top notch, but the service rivals the Walt Disney World like experience.

Last night was no different. There was five of us and we took advantage of their Tuesday Chicken Wing Deal (10 wings/$6.99) and one of us got a burger, renowned for their use of local butchers.

Coming up from the 585 (Rochester, NY), we were no strangers

I went to George Henry's expecting a good burger and I was not disappointed. The "local burger" was GREAT! Oscar is a celebrity in my book (note the burger description):pickles, cheese, and bacon. I'd definitely go back.

So, you know how you're not supposed to go back to a place immediately after the first visit bc it won't be as good? Well, George Henry's defies that logic! I went back the next day and had the Irish Burger and Adirondack Bear beer (local brew--awesome!) and both were equally as good as the day before. This place gets 5 stars on food n

My experiences here have gotten worse every time I come.
The wings are never amazing anymore, sometimes cold, sometimes lacking sauce, sometimes overcooked. Just haven't been great. Favorite flavors are still hot, parm garlic, and sesame ginger. Tuesdays are all you can eat wings for $15 (I think), but the wing quality was the worst on this day I didn't even want to eat that many

The appetizers we've had were all really bad. Spinach artichoke dip is velveeta quality dip, with very little spinach and maybe two artichokes. Tortilla chips are good. The nachos are ridiculous - so bad
