Fitness and wellness should be something you feel good about. It should feel right in your body. We are not a gym. We teach movement in a way that empowers our clients to take control of their health because they understand what they are doing and why they are doing it. We are a fun-loving and caring family and we treat clients with respect that everyone deserves as they journey through wellness.
The Core Connection is a fun, motivating place to work out at. The owner/instructor Rita is a fun, thoughtful and well trained teacher and makes sure the other instructors are as well. The Zumba classes are great! We are lucky to have such a great facility in the area. Words cannot describe Core Connection but I will try.
When it comes to strengthening the deep core muscles of the body, we believe in the importance of progression so that anyone, at any fitness level, can participate. Restorative Exercise is an alignment based movement program developed by Biomechanist, Katy Bowman.
Through her study of biomechanics, mathematics, Newtonian physics and background in fitness, she has developed a set of exercises that, when performed correctly and consistently can relieve pain and restore your body to its natural state of optimal function.

An ideal beginner class for clients with no prior Pilates experience or those needing a serious refresher! Throughout the series, you will learn the five basic principles of STOTT Pilates. Reformer 1 is for Pilates reformer clients who have 'graduated' from our INTRO TO PILATES series and want to hone in on fundamentals and essential.
A full body strength workout with bursts of cardio to boost the burn and keep the body burning. You will work muscles you didn't know you had using the stability. This Kickboxing class will sculpt your upper and lower body, strengthen your core, and increase your cardio with this mix of kickboxing and cardio HIIT intervals.

Core Connection has made exercise fun again! Barre and Yoga Sculpt are my favorites right now but I love knowing that I can change it up any time I want. There is a feeling of community and support there too that helps me rarely miss a class because I look so forward to them. Thank you Rita and all the other amazing instructors!

The Core Connection offers fantastic classes with superb instructors who are all knowledgeable in proper alignment and modifications for all levels. I recently took a cycle class with Rita and the 50 minutes of intense exercise flew by because of her integrated and motivational teaching style and music. The focus on the MyZone training system really helps you track your own individual progress. Thank you!

I joined the Core Connection after 6 years of not working out in a formal gym setting. I explored a few other fitness studios before deciding to become a member of Core Connection. I was impressed with the variety of classes they have from barre to cyclining. The instructors are very informative and make you feel very comfortable in their classes.
