Individual therapy is a joint process between a therapist and a person in therapy. Common goals of therapy can be to inspire change or improve quality of life. People may seek therapy for help with issues that are hard to face alone. Individual therapy is also called therapy, psychotherapy, psychosocial therapy, talk therapy, and counseling.
My name is Becca, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and I feel truly blessed to be able to work in this field. I believe Counseling is a calling and a vocation, rather than a job. I prefer a collaborative and holistic approach to treatment, utilizing diverse techniques to help support your growth and progress on your goals.

I couldn't get through so I reached out via their email service to schedule an appointment online. They were prompt in responding and scheduled my daughter an appointment with the counselor we requested. They said they were going to send me paperwork, then never did. When we showed up at the creepy, mostly abandoned building, they asked if I'd filled out paperwork. I'd never received any, so they had me sit there and do it. It was rather extensive, but they waited until I was done, then had us sign in. After signing in, they came out and asked if we were sure we'd wanted an appointment with that

I honestly can't speak highly enough of Ray of Light Counseling! My son was referred by his Dr. during the quarantine and he started seeing Angela via video appointments. He was very hesitant to talk at all but Angela was able to get him out of his shell and really engage in the counseling, she has helped him so much. Angela was doing such a great job with my son I started seeing her myself and I can honestly say she has helped me change my life. I have never been able to really open up to a counselor but Angela made it easy, she is truly amazing at what she does. My husband is a disabled veteran

I appreciate that the clinicians here express commitment to making the best match between clinician and counselor, especially given that we know the clinician/client fit is so important to therapeutic outcome. Thank you for all the services you've provided to people during this pandemic to help everyone's mental health emerge a little stronger!

First time I called they said they didn’t take my insurance. Waited a couple weeks and they did! Daughter went to a couple appointments received email confirmations. Then in November she has appointment , gets email confirmation goes to said appointment, arrives 10 minutes early. Calls me and says no one is there. Waits a total of 30 minutes and still nobody showed. Very disappointed. Would not recommend. Even when I called couldn’t get anyone to answer or return calls.

They never forwarded my child’s paper work to me, primary physician, or school. Child’s evaluations were completed August. It’s now February! The doctor she she saw is not on the website to contact directly! They do not answer the phone as if they are extremely busy. Unsatisfactory and seemingly careless! Definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone ever! I would prefer to give 0 stars.
