Services
Our Chef will work closely with our registered dietitian to create nutritious, flavorful meals including special and modified diets. A wide variety of menu selections are available to please your palette and are available to order. Skilled services are provided under the supervision of a physician and delivered by a qualified and licensed provider AND.
Our respiratory care unit (RCU) houses private and shared suites and is staffed with 24-7 Respiratory Therapists, a Pulmonologist medical director and specially trained nurses. Working with your critical care team, our goal is to help our residents breathe better. If you cannot breathe on your own due to impaired or nonfunctioning lungs, we help by providing treatments for all types of respiratory failures.

So far NOT SO BAD. I CANT SAY THEYRE TERRIBLE BUT I CANT SAY THEYRE AWESOME EITHER! So... until COVID IS OVER & RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED, I'll have to stick with a 2/3 for now. SORRY GUYS!! I know my mom can & will be a bit difficult to handle at some point, but still... this is the career you folks chose and so I say... "DO YOUR DAMN JOB & LOVE IT!! IF NOT, CHANGE CAREERS!!" AHAHA!! Kidding... no but SERIOUS... if you're not one to be patient with these kupunas or sickly folks, then you shouldn't work here. Because these people really need a lot of LOVE, ATTENTION

Islands Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation is the newest long term care SNF (Skilled Nursing) short term Rehabilitation, and Respiratory Care facility that will be having it's grand opening scheduled for March, 19th 2020. As a medical mfg.sales rep. I had the honor and pleasure of meeting "Geo" their very polite super cordial DON (Director of Nursing). She took the time out of her busy schedule to meet, greet and briefly explain the facilities residence service availibilty options and offered me the tour.
