Best lobster sandwich ever. So fresh! The lobster bisque was also delicious. A truly wonderful place to be on a cold snowy day.

Our party reserved part of the pub for a 3:00 p.m. late luncheon. The room was comfortable and our server was a bit rushed, but, managed to get our drink orders in quickly. I ordered their bacon wrapped scallops and received a decent portion of 6 pieces, the scallops sweet and perfectly cooked, the bacon crispy and delightful, served with a grainy mustard dipping sauce that was simply delicious. The only drawback was that, although each place setting had a bread plate, we were never offered rolls or bread - which I would have LOVED with my meal! A very beautiful place and the gift shop is worth

FIVE STARS!
Never sleep on a Cape Cod get-a-way in the Winter. No traffic or lines, and great places like Dan'l Webster Inn in Sandwich really kick up the menu.
1. My personal favorite was the Duck 2.0 Honey and cardamom glazed boneless breast and confit of leg served with a preserved tangerine and coriander relish, date plum jam, seasonal greenery and duck fat roasted creamer potatoes.
2. If you like tuna, this is amazingly tender and fresh: Seared Ahi Tuna Seared rare in a sesame and sushi rice flour crust. Accompanied by maple miso Brussel sprouts, farro risotto and mustardy slaw.

Stopped by for lunch. Sarah our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. My wife and I Both had the chicken sandwich . It was okay but the bacon jam and slaw was horrible. My wife scrapped it off of hers and I should have. To many ingredients that did not work well together .

Impeccable dining experience and great food. Loved the glass wall where me and my mom could see the waterfall and Koi fish! Also, if you get a chance to go there for lunch, try the Rueben! It was out of this world!

We recently held our wedding here and couldn't have asked for more. Tabitha and Rob were so accommodating and kind, keeping us calm when everything didn't go quite to plan. The facilities were stunning and food was top notch. 10/10, such a special weekend.

At the end of August, we had a 5 day stay at the Inn and have only praise for the staff and the accommodations. I had a health emergency and the manager was so helpful with my daughter and I. They offered to accommodate all our needs and they really cared about my well-being. Gary, Dave and the front staff worked hard to provide the best stay for their guests. All staff wore masks, providing a safe COVID stay. Our room #25 was clean and comfortable. The pool is a delight and the restaurant was delicious with again wonderful service.
Our only disappointment was the Beach Plum Spa. The manager was

Where to start…
The Inn itself had a great feel to it the moment you walk in, accompanied by a very welcoming front desk staff made our check-in process very quick and informed.
My girlfriend and I stayed in one of the Jarves Suites for her birthday and that was truly a pleasure. Whirlpool tub, heated floor tiles, a balcony we could walk out on, and a fridge to boot!
I stayed at a similar place at Hotel Vermont with a whirlpool tub and the Dan’l Inn suites put them to shame, for the same price.
We ended up getting the Romance Getaway and Birthday package and the champagne was delicious

I sent an email to the Daniel Webster Inn to let management know what happened during our stay, that we had picture and video and how much it ruined our vacation. I am very disappointed that we heard nothing, not even an apology .

The location and aura of Dan’l Webster Inn is unbeatable. The front desk was not the most welcoming which is why I am giving it a 4 star rating. The bartender at the tavern was exceptional. The hot tub and pool were lovely. While we only had breakfast at the Inn, we enjoyed it. Overall an excellent experience and we would stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay but felt it was over priced and out dated. We stayed in the Jarves suite which had a whirlpool tub in the room a fire place and balcony. We were let down by the fact the whirlpool did not work at all the way it should of and when we went to take a shower in the really nice big shower the shower head had poor flow and sorta drizzled like it was clogged. They did refund us the difference between the suite with a tub to the cost of the suit without. The pool area was amazing and found it not crowded at all. The tavern had great food but felt it was on the expensive side for

I normally would not write a scathing review because I think it's important to support local businesses, but the condition of this hotel warrants me to warn innocent travelers whose money is better spent elsewhere. Upon arrival, there is a musty smell that is ingrained in the walls - thinking it is due to the old age, we walked in to find a view of the roof...and more roof. The bathroom is experiencing water leakage at the top, and drainage issues at the bottom. And having visited the mansions of Newport, there is a difference between antique furnishings and stuff that your grandma left behind

Stayed in the Jarves suite for mine and my husbands 10th anniversary and I was pleasantly surprised!
I always bring Lysol wipes because the showers and baths never get cleaned to my liking anywhere I've stayed, but that was NOT the case here!! The Lysol wipe was perfectly white, everything was so clean and comforting.
We ate dinner at the bar and breakfast in the dining room and both were absolutely delicious, I was extremely happy with this find, my only complaint was the heat and air conditioning is old school and I honestly couldn't figure it out lol but we opened the door to cool

Dan'l Webster lost a repeat guest. The treatment I received during the check-in process on my last time staying here just recently was absolutely unconscionable.

My fiance and I like to bike in the area (we live about an hour away). Initially, we liked Dan'l Webster as a responsible staycation option close to home during Covid-- fewer rooms than in a hotel, you can use stairs, and there are rooms with a balcony that opens for extra ventilation. Our first time staying here in December 2020 went pretty well-- a polite gentleman checked me in, the room was clean enough and spacious. Though

I'm sorry to say that this is a bad review. My friend and I stopped there for lunch. First, I want to thank the wait staff and the hostess who did their best. The meal was simple, but the least of the problems. The decor was abysmal, with dirty ancient floor carpets to the dark dated brown painted beams/ceilings and outdated wall murals. The dining room appeared as if the owners have given up. The food was overpriced and the prize winning lobster melted cheese sandwich was sad and soggy, the fries almost cold and tasteless. For the price, those fries should have been hand cut and dipped in

I am truly at a loss for words, it's hard to even rate it. In short, we ate in the lovely formal dining room and our food was served to us on plastic plates. I mean clear plastic plates you would get at Costco. Everything was on plastic plates (salad, entrees, dessert) without any explanation from our waitress. We all just looked at each other. So we asked and the waitress told us that there were renovations going on in the kitchen and if they used real plates the dishwasher guys would have to stay till 1:00 am to get real dishes washed and did we want them to have to work till 1:00 am? I've been going there for years. But about 15 months ago they stopped the complimentary cheese & crackers in the Tavern, dropped specials on the Menu, stopped free Coffee & Pastries in the conservatory, no mints on the pillows or turn downs. There's only one Restaurant that I've found on the Cape that doesn't have Clam Chowder on the Menu. You got it! The Daniel Webster Inn. The Menu needs a overhaul! Customers are still asking where's the Cheese @ Crackers? Oh, it's a Health issue, you know it's Flu Season! Year round? The Grounds are unkempt and the

We stayed at this hotel in July 2019.  It is a charming place that takes you back in time. The service provided by all employees was impressive. That is hard to find these days. They were polite, friendly, and super helpful. The room was impeccable, elegant, and it had beautiful American colonial furniture, but yet, it was remodeled to give you all the current comforts such as flat screen tv's, wifi, and updated bathrooms. The bed was so comfy that we slept so well every night we stayed there. The room had fluffy pillows, and high quality soft sheets. The pool area is gorgeous with beautiful

Cute inn in cute DT Sammie. The room we stayed in along the back side of the building where the spa was was a bit dated - Colonial style with heavy window treatments and a big painted TV cabinet and a shower that wasn't so exciting. BUT - totally clean, nice toiletries, cozy huge bed and pillows. It seems like the main building rooms are quite fancy but the room we were in personally were honestly not as well put together as some of the run of the mill Marriotts I've been to. Like I said, nothing in particular to complain about, just dated.

Okay, so now on to the good stuff. Food was

We loved the Dan'l Webster Inn during our recent stay on Cape Cod. It was cozy, and each room was individually decorated to elude all the coziness of an Inn. Along with a restaurant that has wall to ceiling glass overlooking a coy pond, it makes a great spot for kiddos with a pool in the summer. We had a fireplace in our room which really made the experience! make sure yours has one! Also, Sandwich is a gem of a town! you can find coffee and novelettes in a short drive or walking distance!

The Dan'l Webster is a lovely old inn in a lovely town on the Cape- We stayed here on a whim just by dropping in, the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly, and the price was fair, especially for booking a room the same day... in person. Sandwich is a gem of a town, and the Dan'l adds a few karats to it. Dinner and Breakfast were lovely and tasty as well. The bathroom in our room was a touch dated, but in no way did that effect our stay. We would recommend this place highly to anyone looking to stay in this lovely little historic town! Just a few minutes from the Heritage museum

The room was just ok. Hotel is nice in general. They gave us $15 towards breakfast.

The breakfast was amazing! Got the quinoa pancakes and French toast. We also got teas. A tip to the restaurant -- for a real cup of English tea, use boiling water and put the tea bag in before serving. It doesn't brew as well otherwise!

We had a wonderful weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday here. I am a hospitality professional, so I always go to places hesitant about cleanliness. I was very happy when we checked in to the room. It was very clean. It got really hot during the night - something to note if you stay. We were in room 18, and there is only 1 small window in the back of the room. We tried the AC but it wasn't working. We don't like to complain, so we just mentioned it to the desk on our way out on Sunday morning.

The restaurant and bar is amazing. We sat down for a cocktail around 4:30pm on Friday

The food at the restaurant is very good, but I can't say we'd stay here again overnight. There were old flower petals that fell out of the bed the first morning we awoke - hoping that isn't indicative of the cleanliness of the bedding! ... When I requested they be cleaned up at the front desk, I was told they would, but although they made the beds, the petals remained on the ground!

The AC seemed to produce excess humidity as well, and gave the room a moldy basement smell, which hit me every time we entered the room. Kind-of expensive rates for a "damp musty basement"

Great little Inn and Spa in a very Hallmark Hall of Fame kind of town. Sandwich is a really neat and quaint place with a lot of charm and this place fits in perfectly. They have 48 rooms, making it a bit of a boutique place, and the rooms, while not modern, are spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slep in, at least in a really long time.
