I called this place looking to get an appointment for an eye exam and got the rudest lady trying to lecture me about knowing my insurance... I asked what the price was for a contact eye exam without insurance since she knows so much about the insurance world and she tells me there are two prices based on what fit you need for contacts. How would I know what fit I need without the eye exam??? Sounds like a way to scam patients out of extra money for something I don't need. I went here and saw Nicole and was so happy to have found an eye doctor that I liked! I then went to pay and have never had such an expensive eye exam, they also only carry expensive contacts lenses that I didn’t think were any better than my regular brand. They said they are cheaper because they give rebates but all brands offer rebates online. I did not get an eye exam here, I only went to look at glasses. I complimented someone on her frames and she said she purchased them here. I should have known it would be expensive, the woman who referred me was wearing Louboutins. Anyway, once the sales associate Pat, addded all of the no-glare, scratch resistant add ons, the total price she quoted was $600.00 even though she repeatedly stated I had good insurance. I'm happy to see everyone else has had such a positive experience here, and while I do think Dr. Mardak is great, I have a real problem with the office staff. Every time I have tried to get my contacts reordered, Costco ends up canceling the order because they make multiple attempts to confirm my prescription with Wildwood and never get a response from them. This has happened 3 times now and I'm done dealing with it. Finding a practice where things run more efficiently.

This was my second visit to Dr Gray Sass at Wildwood Eyecare. I was referred by a friend and have been happy with my experience. The staff is friendly and helpful and the appointments are pretty much on time, for a doctors office! Dr. Sass is through and answered all me questions I had about the testing, my new prescription and how my eyes were doing in general. I did not feel rushed at all.
The selection of frames is great! They carry brands I have not seen in other places. There was a very short turn around time for my new glasses and on top of that they are really cute!

I walked in knowing my left eye was super weak. The staff greeted me and ushered me back. Dr. Nicole Mardak gave me a very thorough exam and eased my fears and answered many questions. Pat helped me pick out glasses and they even had my prescription lenses in stock, so I was able to walk out the same day with my new glasses! I am very happy with the kindness and professionalism shown to me today. I was new to the area, but now they are my established eye doctor. Highly recommend.

I've been seeing Dr. Sass for years and I always have a wonderful experience! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They even have imaging that can be done instead of dilation which is so easy and gives a much better picture of the optic nerve and retina. I highly recommend this practice to anyone!

My appointment at Wildwood Eyecare was absolutely stress-free & enjoyable. The staff was truly caring & helpful. I was first greeted by their fantastic front office staff. Erica was just absolutely wonderful as she answered a few questions I had while filling out new patient paperwork. Sue & Sarah were wonderful as well. I had an appointment at this doctor's office in September, and I have to say - it was by far the worst experience I have ever had at an eye doctor. I have probably been to 20 different eye doctors in my life because I go every year and move frequently, so I think I am a good judge of a good/bad practice. Unfortunately, this place is the pits. Reception was extremely nice. Dr. Sass was an excellent doctor. He took the time to get to know me before he started with the eye stuff (and he is an Apple fanatic!). I don't have anything to compare this place to given that this was my first trip to an opthalmologist ever, but I was so overly pleased with my experience. Every employee that I came in contact with was so kind and genuinely... just pleasant.
From the nurses, receptionist, doctors, and the rest of the staff, everyone was quite professional with a very welcoming demeanor. It made the experience of being told you need reading glasses actually enjoyable.
