Moores mill....
WORST OFFICE EVER.
Front staff was rude as soon as we arrived.
The techs did a great job with my boys but the doctor was very straight to the point, no communication and seemed bothered.
The woman who fits for glasses was AWFUL and very rude. When I picked them up and asked for a copy of their prescriptions she didn't wanna give them to me.
She mixed up their prescriptions and when I asked about it she tried to blame me and then realized she did mess up and order new pairs with an attitude.
When arriving to pick up the new ordered glasses she was rude.

We won't be back to the Moore's Mill Location. Funny it take 3+ weeks to get my daughter's glasses back. And they were costly at that for a child, but I can go into Eyemart Express and get glasses in less than 2 hours at a far cheaper price. Make it make sense. And where are the $300 glasses I paid for?

They have the worst phone customer service of any office I deal with. No one calls back. I am left on hold (almost 5 minutes) each time I call, only to be transferred to someone who never answers their phone. Each time I leave a message, no one returns my call. And... this is not the first time that this has happened. I can think of three previous phone issues with this office.

The staff at Basden was friendlier than any medical office I've ever encountered! As a new patient, they were able to see me within an hour of calling to make an appointment! The exam was thorough and painless, and I never felt rushed. They happily answered all my questions and the new office on Moores Mill is gorgeous! I also didn't have to wait at all upon arrival! I've always used Wal-Mart for my vision needs to save money, but the experienced staff and cost puts those "cheap" clinics to shame! For your next exam, give Basden a shot: you'll definitely be back!

I called several times just to get an appointment the first time I was put on hold for a long time... Then the phone reset and went back to ringing and a girl answered and I told her what happened and I was waiting to get an appointment she never apologized and said they were so busy she didn't have time to check the Schedule and I could call back tomorrow. I tried calling back hours later and I got the same response that she didn't have the time to look up the schedule..... I work in the medical field and this is unacceptable you don't treat your patients like this.

I' been going here since the 6th grade and I am now 22, every experience I've had with Basden Eyecare has been fine up until today. I called three times a month ago to order contacts and no one ever answered or called back. I am very busy so I had my mother call back and finally she got ahold of someone and ordered my contacts, gave her CC number over the phone and the woman said they would be ready by Thursday (3 days after the call). So, no one called to tell me they were ready so now 9 days after she said they would be ready I drove all the way

Basden seems to value the time of their customers very little. I arrived on time for my appointment. 35 minutes later I was seen by the optician (at least I think that's what she was) for the standard eye tests/measurements. She left. 15 minutes later the doctor arrived. In total I waited 50 minutes for 10 minutes of service for a basic eye exam. No apologies given just business as usual, apparently.
Furthermore, expect to wait at least 5 minutes on hold when calling the office.

I have been needing an eye appointment, and Basden seemed to be a great choice. My husband called to set up an appointment, and a woman answered and placed him on hold immediately. He waited on hold for about five minutes. Then, she came back and asked him whether or not he was a new patient and what he needed. She asked him to hold again, and he waited on hold for another five minutes. She came back a third time and asked him to hold again. I was beyond pleased with my experience at Basden!
I had been putting my annual checkup off since January, and had been wearing my last set of contacts since March(ish). I like to live life on the edge. Actually, I'm just really good at procrastinating. The girl that took my information and did the basic stuff at the beginning of my appointment totally judged me, but I don't blame her. It was a great bonding moment.
The rest of my appointment was peachy and my doctor had a sense of humor and answered some questions I had from my checkup the year before.
The best part though was

I found Basden Eyecare randomly. I was driving on Dean's road and saw a sign for their office. I decided it wIas probably about time to get my eye examined so I pulled in and got an appointment for the next day. It is a very very nice facility. Big, clean and well organized. The front desk staff was very nice, they got all my paper work done quickly so that it was ready to go when I came back for my appointment. As a side note, one could also fill out the paperwork online. What an amazing concept.
