Oh I miss Petworth Animal Hospital!
Anyway, I have a neighbor who loves Takoma…and they might be wonderful…don’t get me wrong. This is not to bash this business. The only reason I gave them a two-star is because their website is out of date and misleading. I went online several weeks ago to schedule an appointment and did not receive a call nor email. I drove up there just to see what the area looks like and check their parking situation. Anyway, while there I learned that the online request/booking does not work.
Fast forward to today, Tuesday, August 24, 2021; I call to make an appointment

My 14 month-old Mini Pinscher was scheduled for surgery and I was very anxious. The surgeon, Dr. Malachi answered all my questions and eased my anxiety. When I picked up my dog, he was groggy, however, two days later he was himself. Active and playful. Although I was given medicine for pain, he had no need for it. I was delighted with the results of his care and will continue with Takoma Park Animal Clinic for my dog's needs,

I moved to Takoma Park- and Needed a New Vet. I called them and they were able to schedule me right away. They are friendly, thorough, and patient with all my questions. During the Pandemic they were still able to take my cat for a check up. Their pricing is fair- and the doctor took time on the phone to answer all my questions and concerns.

When we moved to the area Takoma Park Animal Clinic handled the health issues for our four senior cats beautifully. They've also done a wonderful job taking care of the kittens we adopted after our seniors had transitioned. Our two girls love their bath experience here. Highly recommended and super friendly!

We needed to get our dog vaccinated before boarding him, so we were on time constraints. Takoma Park animal Clinic was able to fit us in same day when we couldn’t get an appointment anywhere else for several weeks. The staff was very courteous (and walked me through how to send his records electronically). The veterinarian met me outside and talked to me about my dog and then brought him out to me. He was very friendly and was playing with my dog when they came out the door. I had a great experience here. It is pricey but they gave me a 15% discount for being a new client.

Even though we moved 20 minutes away, I still bring my golden retriever to Takoma Park Animal Clinic. We usually see Dr. Decker, and he's awesome with our rambunctious, XL dog. He was also the kindest when we had to say goodbye to our last beloved dog, and it was that kindness that really means the world. The technicians are the most wonderful people, so kind and friendly. Communication is very good, and they refer you elsewhere if the issue requires a specialist. This is a friendly, nonjudgemental, experienced Clinic. We have pet insurance, which helps with non-routine costs. I would say this
