Bare Feet Power Yoga is a neighborhood yoga studio located in the West Loop. Our community is passionate about connection, the mind body connection and our connection to the individuals around us. Rooted in the practice of Power Yoga, the Bare Feet experience takes students to their physical edge through breath and movement, allowing challenges to be met with grace and stillness along the way.
There is a profound moment when breath meets movement. At Bare Feet, that's how we define yoga. We are rooted in the practice of Power Yoga, amplifying the traditional asana postures to a powerful vinyasa flow. Our classes challenge both physicality and equanimity, achieving balance through restoration and mindfulness.
Our Contributors pay a premium which helps us keep yoga financially accessible for all. And if we exceed our profit goals at the end of the month all the extra money will be donated to a local charity of our choosing. This is how much we hope to bring in per class which will ensure we are able to keep our lights on and pay our teachers fairly.
Bare Feet Power Yoga regularly holds workshops and events that offer you opportunities to explore different aspects of your practice. From the physical, like our Beginner's Workshops that breaks down the fundamentals of each yoga pose or What The Facia, that focuses on facia tissue, to the spiritual, like our Learn to Meditate Series or the Exploration of Sensory Deprivation.
Robin combines her athletic knowledge with her kind nature and teaches classes that are challenging yet lighthearted. Ali began practicing yoga in college as a way to reconnect with the natural movements that she loved growing up competing in gymnastics and cheerleading. After twenty plus years in the Chicago event planning industry and hours of standing on her feet, Julianne Farrell, was drawn to teach yoga as she saw.

Incredible place to practice yoga. The entire atmosphere is positive, welcoming, and inspiring, and I leave every class refreshed, energized, grounded. I've tried most of the instructors and they are all wonderful, each bringing a unique style and vibe to the practice. Also great for all experience levels, including people just starting out like I was a few months ago.

I LOVE this studio. Stopped in for my first class on Monday and i have been back every day since. Every instructor is and CREATIVE and clearly an expert in human anatomy (this is so important if you are new to yoga). You will sweat, you will stretch and you will get in the "zone" Do it. you won't regret making BFPY your studio.

My first time at Barefeet yoga was such a great experience. Having not been able to do yoga in person, it was such a delight to be in an in studio class. Everything felt very clean and safe but also welcoming. The teacher was kind and helpful and the class was a perfect pace with modifications offered if needed. I will definitely be going back.

Bare Feet Power Yoga has been my favorite studio since they opened in the West Loop. I have been in the fitness industry for 20 years and I can not recommend them enough! Their instructors are super knowledgeable, correcting form and recognizing individual capabilities. Robin and her staff are top notch...if you want to have a high quality yoga class with some fun this is the place for you!

Bare-Feet is our favorite yoga studio. Whenever we visit Chicago we love to go because the community feel of the people attending provides a very positive vibe . Even for old or yogis like us. The space is small and intimate so you help getting to know others. All the instructors are helpful and give personalized attention when needed. And I LOVE to sweat, so the hot yoga temp set at 92° Plus help me reach that goal and sweat buckets.
