Services
Bilingual Child Care and Education Center is a private, family-owned, small business that first began offering care in 2010. Our program was developed by the Center's owner and founder, Leah Retamozo.
Ms. Retamozo is fluent in Spanish, with Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Latin American Studies and a Master's degree from the University of Minnesota's Comparative International Development and Education (CIDE) program within the Department of Educational Policy and Administration.

Our infant care allows parents to leave their precious little ones within our loving care with complete peace of mind. Our teachers and caregivers develop caring bonds with each child! They also are wonderful about communication with parents to make sure your baby's individual needs are met each day.

We offer live view cameras of the classroom and you will receive photos and learning stories that describe your child's ongoing development.
Our preschool program is designed to challenge your growing child's curiosity and development as they prepare for kindergarten. While your child is in our Spanish immersion preschool, they'll benefit from caring bonds that are developed with all teachers and caregivers. Our teachers communicate regularly with parents to make sure you receive information about your child's daily adventures and learning journey at our center.
The Creative Curriculum is research-based and supports the development of the whole child. High-quality, comprehensive resources empower educators to intentionally teach and care for our youngest learners during the most critical and formative years of development. Do not take your child to this school. We had a horrible experience with our child. The child fell on the ground under their care during class hours and no one can explain what happened since most of the staff does not speak English. The director asked us to leave instead of working with us when we are shocked at that moment. Also it has been reported previously they abandoned a child during class. Of course you will remember me. There is no parent who wouldn't put his child before anyone else. You care more about your business interest over our child's wellness. You put my wife in your office

I wanted to take the time to write this review to express how happy I am with this daycare that my baby is attending. My baby boy is my first child and I was very nervous in sending him to daycare, but honestly all the staff in this place are very wonderful and have taken excellent care of him that I am glad i chose Bilingual Childcare Education Center to be the school for him, since I know he is in very good hands. My husband and I have been very, very pleased with the care our children have received at Bilingual Child Care & Education Center. Our son began attending when he was 1 year old (he's now nearly 5), and my daughter started when she was 5 months old (now 2.5). Our children have flourished at BCEC. My son has strong language skills and vocabulary in both Spanish and English and our daughter is developing these skills, as well. This has been a great place for our 3 kids. Our oldest was well prepared for kindergarten this year and is excelling at her Spanish immersion elementary school. We also have an infant and toddler who are currently attending and we are very happy with the care they are getting. We also feel the center is doing a great job navigating the COVID environment and are confident our kids are in good hands when we drop them off for the day. Highly recommend this place, they have great teachers and staff that really care about the kids.

Our children have been attending BCEC for 6 months and love it. Both kids are very happy to see their teachers and the staff In the morning, and our toddler has learned a lot of Spanish. The staff obviously care about our kids and know them well. We also really like that the inside of the building is painted in warm colors. It feels really welcoming. The staff has always responded to all of our questions quickly and were really supportive during the kids’ first couple of days while we all adjusted to then being away from home for the first time. We love BCEC! Our daughter has attended BCEC since she was an infant and has now been in every one of the classrooms. We weren't looking for a Spanish immersion school but we were so impressed when we first took a tour that we decided to enroll our daughter. We couldn't be any happier with our decision! The teachers and staff are wonderful and caring. We are so appreciative of the work they've done to help us raise our daughter.

Our experience with BCEC was extremely positive. Our son started when he was 10 months and stayed there nearly two years until we moved out of state this summer. The staff and teachers are kind, caring and invested in the kids emotional and social development. The facilities are well taken care of, and the new remodeled outdoor area is wonderful. Though we speak Spanish at home, I know those who don’t speak Spanish at home feel great about the language development. Highly recommend learning more if you’re interested in an immersion program!

Both of my children have attended here and have loved it. The center is clean and bright. All of the teachers have been fantastic. My kids enjoy going here each day. I am amazed by how much Spanish they are able to understand and speak. My daughter was well prepared for starting Kindergarten this fall thanks to the teachers in preescolar 2.

We loved BCEC! My son was enrolled for almost two years. During that time, my son was always well taken care of and loved. His teachers and administrative staff were amazing to us but more importantly to my son. I am beyond grateful I came across this place! Plus, they have cameras and you can check on your child any time!
