Services
Cherie began her career in Dentistry in 2012 after graduating from Arizona College of Allied Health. She has worked primarily as a back office assistant. While working in the back office she also taught the Dental Assistant Program at a few local trade schools. She loves seeing her former students progress and grow in their careers.
As a graduate of the University of Missouri, School of Dentistry in Kansas City, Dr. Sara Vizcarra practiced privately in Missouri before finding her way to Arizona. Once here, she rooted herself at her new dental home. Located at the base of Pinnacle Peak, Dr. Sara has been delivering quality care since starting her practice, Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry, over 12 years ago.
Dr. Christine Tran grew up in Anaheim, California. She stayed local to southern California during her education and attended UCLA where she received both her undergraduate degree in bioengineering and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
She also lived in Sacramento while completing a general practice residency at the Veteran's Affairs Dental Clinic where she received training in advanced restorative dentistry, oral surgery and even forensic dentistry.She relocated several years ago to Phoenix to be with her fiance. Dr. Tran's interests in science as well as art have shaped her unique perspective and approach to dentistry.

Pinnacle peak family dentistry is the place that I highly recommend to family and friends!!! This is a fabulous office with great doctors and staff. I had just recently moved to the area and was looking for a dentist as I was due for a 6 month check up and cleaning. This practice was in a convenient location for me, so I gave them a call. When scheduling I specified that I would like a 6 month check up and cleaning, and the appointment was made. I was told I would be seeing Dr. Sara. I filled out the "new patient" paperwork online and submitted it a week or two before my appointment. On the day of the appointment I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled time. I have not gone to the dentist since Covid-19. I fear always going to the dentist. My prior dentist office at another office gave me anxiety and I was in pain during my deep cleaning. I finally made an appointment at Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry.They recommended a deep cleaning and 3 filling. All I can think was “ This is going to be painful.Amy did my deep cleaning and I felt NO pain at all. Dr. Tran put in my filling and NO pain.The staff at Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry is fabulous.

What can say….. on Tuesday afternoon (2 days before thanksgiving) at 130 in the afternoon, I cracked my crown on a peanut M&M. I immediately called my dentist and was told the earliest they could see me was Monday at 1 pm….(because they were closed the entire week for T.G.)
I reside in Troon and have passed by Pinnacle Peak Dentistry for three years…. With that said, the next day , Wednesday morning, i walked in to Pinnacle Dentistry at 9am,,,no appointment,,and asked if they could see me. I showed the front desk my problem and she said the Dr could see me at 10am.

Moving to the "other side" of the dental practice, now I can say I've experienced a thorough treatment for my TMJ in addition to my regular dental needs. The entire staff is friendly, upbeat, and knowledgeable and allows patients to feel at ease with not only their dental care but the financial/informational side as well. Dr. Tran and her staff are absolutely fabulous. I feel welcomed there, but also expertly taken care of. I love how recommended treatments are prioritized and then monitored / followed up. I feel like the most prudent course of action is suggested. I trust my dental and oral health confidently to my lovely (and super smart) dentist!! It's worth the drive for me!!

My husband and I are new to this practice. We were both so pleasantly surprised how thorough they were with x-rays and gum evaluations on our first appointments. I went in for my cleaning today with Larissa, she was so great and so gentle with a sore gum issue I was having. She immediately took X-Ray and had Dr. Viscarra in to check it out. She took care of things right away, they were very accommodating and we have a care plan set up. We have seen both Dentists, Dr Viscarra and Dr. Tran and we are extremely impressed!

Recently transferred my dental care here and couldn't be happier. There is never any waiting, they actually start when they say they will. Besides being quick to get you started, the staff is very professional and friendly. I've been working with Dr. Tran and she's wonderful, really everyone working here is wonderful. Plus you get the best views, here's a bunny I caught at my last visit. ALSO, they always have HGTV playing so if you like home improvement shows, this is the place to be.

An amazing experience with Dr Sara and the staff at Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry. I needed a cleaning and was having problems with a crown and filling that I had gotten from another dentist just a couple yrs ago. Dr Sara was so much more skillful and competent than the other dentist. She took the time to show me what was wrong and explained how she could fix these problematic areas. The new crown fits perfectly, it looks and feels like my original tooth and that bad filling was removed and replaced without a hitch. This office is absolutely amazing with friendly staff, great COVID precautions, and thorough cleanings. Today was my first time in the office and I was amazed at how much time and care the dentist and team (Erika and dulce) provided me. They gave me great cleaning tips and took the time to answer all of my questions. I'm beyond happy I chose to come to this office and look forward to coming back!

I came in here for a simple cleaning and was very impressed with the beautiful, welcoming office and staff! I had Dr. C Tran look at my teeth and she was very detailed in her exam with me and answered all my questions and concerns.
Also brought along my boyfriend for a comprehensive exam and was thankful with how thorough Dr. Tran was. Answered our many many questions and concerns, pointed out exactly what she sees in laymen terms for us, and created a very detailed treatment plan. It's a little ways away from the fwy, but can't wait to go back for my cleanings!

I've been a patient here for a little over a year and have been impressed with Dr. Sara and her staff. Dr. Sara is more detailed and thorough than any dentist I've seen and her office has updated medical equipment. I've also seen her on the TMJ side and find that side to be just as pleasant as well.

My family and I have recently moved to the Scottsdale area and were in need a new dentist. My wife and I each sought out our own dentist. I choose Pinnacle Peak Dentistry - unfortunately. I needed a couple crowns and cost for this work was very high as compared to the quote received from my wife's dentist for the same work. This dentist gave me a "Proposed" estimate for this work but in the middle of this process (in between the temporary crowns and the placement of the permanent crowns) I was told the actually cost would be 70% higher than the proposal. They are MORE than Dentistry......and the word "Family" better describes the environment and professionalism you encounter walking in the door.

I recently moved to Arizona and found Pinnacle Peak Family Dentistry by searching on Yelp in my area. I had my first appointment yesterday and was amazed at the warm, friendly atmosphere of all of the staff I worked with. Dr. Tran was very thorough with my exam and we arrived at a great plan to address my dental needs.

Get ready to get nickel and dimed for just blah dental service as the rent in North Scottsdale must make it hard to compete with other local dentists... oh, and the office manager or business office lady is serious about harassing via phone calls and a sharp nasty attitude. Lots of other good choices out there that will do a much better job.

The key issue is that I felt the diagnoses of my dental condition was inaccurate.
