Doctor Brandon Ryff attended college at the University of Arizona, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular & Cellular Biology and a Bachelor of Health Science degree in Physiology. Pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a dentist, he continued on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of Michigan-School of Dentistry, which is consistently a top-ranked dental school.
Doctor Coombs received his dental degree from the University of Louisville in 2000. In an effort to stay knowledgeable about the latest technologies and developments, Dr. Coombs has participated in hundreds of hours of continuing education earning the "Fellowship" status with the Academy of General Dentistry in 2009.

Literally THE best dentist in Scottsdale. The office has a super modern, 5-star feel. Every single staff member is friendly and amazing. I called at 2pm on a Thursday (they are closed Fri-Sun) and they got me in in an emergency right before they closed. Seriously the best dentist I've ever been to, go to Dr. Ryff you won't be disappointed.

Just had such a wonderful experience at this dental office. Couldn't have been more pleased with the people, service and overall time spent there. They were all so accommodating and welcoming and made you feel right at home, while at the office. The client care and attention is flawless from the front desk to the chair. Dr. Ryff's work has been immaculate thus far and his communication and "bedside manner" are the best I've experienced. Highest recommendation I have to offer!

Absolutely love this dental office! I’ve always had bad experiences with dentists and I couldn’t be more happy with Scottsdale Smile Center. The front desk crew goes above and beyond to remember your name, greet you upon entering and help you with any questions you have. The clinic itself is very stylish and luxurious. I’ve had my teeth whitened here as well as regular cleanings and fillings and everything’s great! I recently brought my grandmother in, who was quite nervous about coming and they have been incredible with her!

Lovely, caring group of people. As a card carrying dental phobic, they were all extremely careful to explain exactly what they were doing the whole time. I appreciated this as being in the dark and imagining the worst is not good for me! Attention to detail and carefully watching my dental needs over time, earns Scottsdale Smile a place in my family of caregivers.

So I just got back from my first appointment at this place and it went really bad, I went here because of all the good reviews but I'm not sure how they have so many now.
When i made my appointment I made clear that I was looking for a consultation on implants and veneers, primarily to check out pricing and what a treatment plan would look like. I got neither after leaving.
So when you walk in you immediately get a sense of ostentatiousness with the the expensive looking art, sitting area and reception desk. Its all a bit much, when i sat there the first thing i thought about was 'oh

This is how dentistry should be done! They got me in last minute to replace a broken crown. The service from the moment that you walk in until you walk out is top notch. Dr. Ryff is an incredible dentist who has an incredible eye for detail. Dr. Ryff used the latest technology to complete my crown replacement in one visit and it looks better than it did before. I highly recommend this office, you will not be disappointed!

Best dental office ever. Dr. Coombs and Ryff are incredibly skilled and knowledgeable. Denise and the rest of the staff help make it a great experience. I am 30 years old and recently my front tooth cracked at the root (which Coombs predicted). Dr. Ryff, Coombs and the rest of the team got me in same day. I trust this practice 100% and would encourage you to check them out whether it's for major dental surgery or a simple cleaning.

Scottsdale Smile Center has customer service down to an art. The staff is friendly and concerned about your comfort. The wait time is reasonable and the office is clean. Dr. Coombs and his group does an excellent job explaining the process and making sure you are comfortable with what will take place. I recommend Scottsdale Smile Center to anyone looking for a dentist.

I have never enjoyed or appreciated a dentist more! Everyone at Scottsdale Smile is welcoming and friendly, even remembering and showing interest in personal details of my life. The hygienists are sensitive to my particular dental needs and I'm never dreading my appointments like I have in the past. Our 5 year old son even loves going to the dentist :) I think that says a lot. I've already recommended Scottsdale Smile to my parents!

Dr. Coombs and Dr. Chiappetti are so incredibly skilled at what they do and their entire staff are some of the friendliest people you will meet. I love the fact that the front office staff ALL greet you by name when you walk in the door! When all other dental offices have let you down, try this one. I promise you will not be disappointed. Although the dental practice looks professional and clean, the staff was not genuous in their concerns of my comfort. Yes, they said what you wanted to hear but you can tell when someone is not sincere. As soon as I said I wasn't sure about coming back or my discomfort when I had my teeth cleaning, they called me everyday. Not to check up to see how I was doing with the tooth I originally came in for care, but to see how quickly they can give up my appointment to fit in someone else...Everyday at least twice a day they called and not one of those calls or messages were to ask about my pain
