We are open Wednesday-Saturday from 4:00-8:00pm for take out and limited on premise dining. Thank you for your continued support. Be well and be safe. The Guest House restaurant is our sincere attempt at great hospitality and honest cooking catering to residents of Kenmore and surrounding neighborhoods.

The conception of The Guest House evolved from happy memories of food, family and friends. My father established The Bartley Collection, Ltd in Prairie View, IL in 1974. He launched the fledgling mail-order business in our garage, relocating thereafter to a proper showroom and factory.

Absolutely fabulous! Lovely ambience, super friendly staff, but even more importantly, the food was outstanding! Phenomenally prepared and so flavorful. Can’t wait to go back.

Well curated menu. Items were simple but well executed. There was also an impressive cocktail list.

Extremely friendly staff, nice bright venue in a quiet space. The food is good Americana with a little bit of a twist. They're donut holes with powdered sugar and cardamom are fantastic. Great cocktails too!

I cannot speak higher of The Guest House and it's owner, Kevin. We had a last minute change in wedding plans and were looking for a venue for a rehearsal dinner for ~40 people. I reached out to a group in Kenmore on facebook looking for help and Amanda and Kevin responded to my plea. We met with them about 2 weeks before the event, nailed down the basics, and didn't worry about it again. And thank goodness we didn't because it was truly AMAZING! The ambiance of the place, the incredible food, amazing service, and not to mention the fancy drinks! All amazing. Our guests ranted and raved about how

Cute little restaurant tuck in a quiet and beautiful suburb of Kenmore. Perfect spot for a beautiful brunch on a beautiful weekend. I went here with a group of 11 friends and they have ample seatings for all of us. The parking lot is spacious so no need to drive around to look for the parking.
For the food, it’s of really high quality and it comes out really quick. The portion is big. The service is really good and professional. Highly recommend this place.

The Guest House is a beautiful space, with exceptional hospitality, and wholesome food.
We arrived for brunch and were third in line for a table, but the staff offered us coffee and tea while we waited. After we were seated, service was quick and friendly, and our food came out in no time!
I had the breakfast sandwich with sausage, and as someone who makes quite a few breakfast sandwiches myself, I understand what I fine you walk making a sandwich as perfect as this one. The sandwich was *fully stacked*, but without being too bready, or stacked so high it falls apart, or being too big to eat

Hopping local joint great for breakfast (mostly gluten containing items) lunch, and dinner (also brunch and linner). I've come here many times with my family to enjoy their unique local fare. Steaks have been delicious, as have the short ribs, polenta (seemingly a specialty of theirs!) Not to mention some deliciously wood fired gluten free (and regular) pizzas, including mushroom combos and sausage/pepperoni.
Also this place really knows what they're up to with salmon- some of the crispiest skin I've had in a while, paired with some beluga lentils.

Great little neighborhood restaurant. There's a limited happy hour menu before 5pm. Wood fired pizzas, burgers, a few salads & apps. Excellent, inventive, well balanced, cocktails are $3 off. Went on a Friday night. As time went on it got busier. Will definitely be back.

Sublime, bespoke, local food that is absolutely excellent and made in-house. They have a local farm for salads, they make all of their french fries and bread every day, and you will absolutely love the gormet food you pay a moderate price for. If you're looking to eat and don't care very much about mediocre service, this is absolutely the place to be!
