Services
Community acupuncture clinics treat everybody in the same room, typically in recliners. This is how we keep our prices low, it is simple economics, high volume leads to better prices. Many patients have said they prefer the community setting because the recliners are more comfortable than hard tables, they don't have to take any clothes off, and they can get the acupuncturist's attention at any time.
You pay what works for you - based on your financial situation and personal health budget. We get that your financial status can change from week to week based on life circumstances and we don't want that to stand in the way of you getting the care you need. Come in and feel better! One of the ways we are able to keep our prices low is by cutting out the extra costs associated with billing insurance.
Please arrive to your first appointment 10 minutes early. You will need to wear loose fitting clothing so that the practitioner has access to the acupuncture points. Pants should easily roll up to the knees & sleeves should roll up easily to the elbows. You can easily cancel/reschedule an appointment by using our online booking system or giving us a call.

Fantastic clinic and environment! Heidi is wonderful, she helped heal my badly strained ankle and I went back for induction acupuncture- the treatments were so soothing and I’m so excited to report that her induction acupuncture treatments successfully helped me avoid a scheduled medical induction…and helped lead to a quick and uncomplicated delivery. 10/10 would recommend for your prenatal needs and injury recovery!

I have been going to Tempe Community Acupuncture since their doors opened over 5 years ago. Heidi and staff are fantastic! I can always count on TCA to take care of my mental and physical ails. The environment is welcoming, caring, healing, and nurturing. During this epidemic they are being extremely cautious and considerate of all their patients, and all areas are pristine. Heidi is thorough and caring in her approach. You will receive her utmost attention whether she is doing your intake or seeing you for follow up routine care. Dan (the sub for when Heidi is absent) also has a very professional and caring demeanor and he is an excellent acupuncturist who knows his herbs and can recommend herbal medicinals as well. The space is relaxing and you will enjoy napping or quietly reading a book in your recliner while you receive treatment.

Heidi was excellent in service. Acupuncture isn't for everyone. You must be open to it. It's not a quick fix for heaing. Its relaxing and be open to receiving healing. Mediate while being treated, if you can or not. If you fall into a deep sleep, you will feel very rested and blessed when you wake up.
Acupuncture gave me release of migraine headaches and relief from an injury cause by a chiropractor 2016. I have referred s few people and RNs to her as their job can be very stressful. I will definitely see Heidi again.

OMG-Tempe Community Acupuncture is one of the best finds for my medical issues ever! So I have insane this insomnia. I quit cold turkey the "stupid" pills. I haven't slept a full a full night in over a year. Done it all up to this point. Pills, Tried about 9 different meds. Mad me stupid, sleep walk and drowsy. I do yoga twice a week, Gong therapy, massages etc. They are fine, they are a cumulative at best but when Heidi McHardy, The owner and Acupuncturist asked me how I was doing and then gave me the treatment-WOW, I slept after the first 10 minutes and woke only to her pulling

First of all, If you have never been to Accupunture treatment then you are in for good surprise. As long as you have a open mind and willing to try alternate, natural and hollistic approach for your symptoms rather than popping a pill and suppressing the symptoms, not to forget dealing with side effects.
This being said, I like the atmosphere, the energy and relaxing comfortable area setup with white noise and calm music. From the front desk greeting and interaction to sitting in comfortable recliners and experiencing Accupunture session and feeling relaxed and calm as you exit, it's all affordable

These guys are amazing! All of March, I was going through some inflammation on one of my shoulders/upper Neck. A friend of mines introduced me to acupuncture and Ive done it once, Years ago when I used to live in Oahu for an allergie issue and forgot how it helped me back then.
Im not a needle person at all - still close my eyes when they insert the needles and I dont move at all... but, at this point in my life experiencing uncomfortable pain and having to stop doing your normal everyday duties and not wanting to take medication to just make you feel comfortable and not taking care of the origin

Heidi is a wonderful acupuncturist and person all around. Tempe Community Acupuncture is a calm quiet atmosphere with a bright future growing everyday. I most definitely have to recommend TCA to anyone looking for a more traditional way of healing. (Keep in mine acupuncture is like going to the gym; you can't go just once and expect results!!)

I wish there were six stars. This place is incredible. The staff and Acupunks are so friendly and helpful and professional and they're great listeners and I really just can't say enough how much I appreciate this place being here. I didn't know acupunture could be affordable for normals like me, and I tremendously respect that Heidi keeps her prices low so that Acupuncture is accessible.

What a wonderful spot for community acupuncture! Amanda at the front desk was welcoming and Heidi the acupuncturist was excellent! There were 4 of us visiting from out of town and they accommodated us all at the same time. The environment with soothing music and low lighting was good as were the comfy recliners! I visited 3 times last week since I have been feeling so ill lately. It has already started to help me! My chronic sinusitis is improving and my anxiety is slowly diminishing.

I went for the first time on Saturday and was VERY nervous. Once I got there I was no longer worried about the process. I was greeted by Nicco, who was very personable and welcoming which was a great way to start my appointment. They were very efficient on getting me in and answering my questions. Heidi was great as well! She made me feel calm and let me know what she was doing each step. She asked lots of questions to make sure she was targeting the right points, she was very thorough. Wow, had my second treatment today. Heidi and her super-hero office manager, Amanda, are nothing short of amazing. I've been under a lot of stress lately, and again, I left relaxed, refreshed, and feeling renewed. The environment is so sparkling clean and comfortable. I've been here once, but have been wanting to come back for months now. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The treatment room is so peaceful, you close your eyes and relax and don't even notice when someone comes in or leaves.

I would give Tempe Community Acupuncture 10 stars if I could. Heidi is very gentle and sensitive to my fears of certain points that other acupuncturists have used and hurt me. I started going after discussing it with my neurologist. I have chronic migraine, and was seeking more relief than my current medications have been able to provide. I've been going twice a week for the past month and half now, and my migraines have been definitely been improving. When my allergies act up, she manages to help clear up my sinus congestion, too.
The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and Heidi knows how to put you at ease. Her touch is gentle, and I always leave feeling refreshed. I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking of trying acupuncture

I love the feel of this clinic - very welcoming and peaceful as you walk into the treatment room. Heidi is a wonderful acupuncturist! She takes the time to listen to your concerns, works those needles just right (never felt any pain at all from the needles), and keeps an eye on you as you relax. With the price being so affordable, I plan on going again and again for all my acupuncture needs.

I love community acupuncture and now that there is a clinic close to work I can attend regularly! Heidi is wonderful! She is intuitive and knowledgeable! The best part? The results! I had IMMEDIATE results on my first session, and continue to go twice a week. I have gotten off all my daily meds. (Of course Heidi told me I needed to discuss with my dr). Last night I got my husband to try it for our date night. I'm so happy, this is the longest he's gone without taking his twice daily heartburn meds. I have seen things that have been miracles in my life. Try it!!! You won't regret it, get
