I’ve lived here for a year now and I absolutely love it, but yesterday was the day that did it for me. I was having a horrible day and called the office for rescuing in helping me get into my trunk which had locked shot with rust, Michael came and helped me for 20 minutes try to get into it almost every way we could think of. We couldn’t get it open so I went somewhere to get it looked at. On my way back, I stopped to pick up my new patio furniture which was delivered to the front office (it was a huge and heavy box). This apartment complex is so peaceful, good place for if you want to get away from student housing and still be close to campus. Also a lot of surrounding places to shop or eat at. The layouts are aesthetically pleasing so much for pets as well. The staff is incredibly kind and tourist is really friendly and knowledgeable!

Dakota Arms Apartments is one of the best complexes you would rent in Lubbock for many reasons:
1. Great Location
2. Great Buildings and Great design for the apartments
3. Great administration/information office members
I had the privilege to work with different representatives at Dakota Arms Apartments but April Trevino stood out with the services she offered me since day one in this complex. She made it home from the first meeting we had at the information office. All my services requests were answered professionally.
I recommend this place for anyone seeks a great location, a great apartment

Whenever you sign a contract with Sunridge management be prepared to pay more than what you agreed upon on rent. It's in a good location. However watch out for bugs ( Roaches, Spiders)… Even after units are sprayed repeatedly these invader's are everywhere around complex and still make there way in units, unless you get your own spray, problem solved. On the other hand you can hear residents and other unpleasant noise in and around units pretty clearly. The other scenarios I prefer not to share because there're not any more appealing. Be Aware and prepared!!

I don't know they expect anyone to find anything here. the layout is awful and one of the worst i've seen. all the building numbers are mixed up and make no sense, you'll have 2 right next to 5 and 3 on the other side of the complex, not to mention half of them aren't even labeled at all so you really just have to guess. on top of that none of the apartment numbers have any correlation so you just have to hope you're going the right way. apartments are also all falling apart and terribly managed. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! worst apartments in lubbock by far

Update (one year later): I am really sad to be leaving this place, but we need to be closer to TTU. Renee, the manager, is probably one of the greatest managers I've ever had in my apartment life. She really cares about DA and its residents. We never had a problem, but, if you do, my advice is to be open about it - the staff is always willing to help, but only if you communicate with them! I hope I am able to live in another place with the same caring staff like DA in the future.
